Love thy neighbor, unless thy neighbor is poor.Situated a few blocks from Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks, this "place of worship" is easily accessible by Valley Metro via the 12th and Jefferson stops. However, despite its easily accessible location, this theological site definitely does not practice what it preaches from the teachings that their book of worship set forth over the last two millennia. If you know, you know about the black church. Christianity is one of the world's largest religions, but amongst POC, more specifically African decent, it's a faith that really began to take hold over the last 400 years or so. During my childhood as well as currently, I've struggled to truly grasp how a person could live in a way that directly contradicts how the omnipotent being they worship told them to live during the time they spent on earth. It's similar to how the Phoenix metropolitan area treats POC when they're not being entertained by them in some way, shape, or form. Once service ends, tolerance ends.Nevermind the fact that the poor and the disenfranchised were the ones who most directly benefited from the original in-person teachings within their religious texts. Today, you nod your head in agreement during service, then immediately disregard the appropriate way of living according to the Word when you exit the door. But then again, if you know, you know about the black church. It's full of hypocrites. Amen. If you're looking to visit this location for religious services during your MLB fan experience, I strongly suggest against it. Overall, this place is not the best place to go if you're an outsider. There are other places of worship that value not only your presence but will also treat you in a respectful manner. As you can see from my other reviews, I have not had the most pleasant experiences lately. However! At great personal risk to myself, I write these reviews based on my experience so that others will benefit from the experiences that I have. I encourage others to SPEAK UP! Your voice can assist others to avoid potentially detrimental situations & as always do your own research!

I would've given 3 stars. Yet based on a few experiences. Now I feel the need. To say something as it's well overdue. I've been going to this church for awhile. The volunteers at the front door. Are typically very jovial, courteous, and helpful. Yet the clothing area ran by. The older woman not so much. Her attitude when dealing with the public sucks. She can be curt at time's. Was raising her voice slightly. At a woman who didn't. Come into the clothing room next. As she was sitting in an area. Where she didn't see the hand gestures. For her to come in. I was very irritates by this. As she was nasty with me. In the past so I. Try not to irritate her. Or I just avoid her overall. Yet she's patient with kid's.

Caribbean Palm Restaurant located at 2515 N. Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85257 - love the delicious Jerk Chicken and fixings. The fried plantains are yummy. Every time I visit the food is sooo delicious. The ambiance was so inviting and the service was impeccable. The waitress frequently visits the tables to refill your glasses and to make sure that your dining needs are met.❤❤❤The owner stopped by to make sure that our meals and the service was spot on. If you're in the neighborhood, or not, your tummy will thank you and your appetite will be satisfied with a delicious meal from Caribbean Palm. 5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Went for Covid vaccinations. Visited years ago, nice church and people, just not for me - not saying anything bad, just stating I personally wasnt moved nor did I feel the Spirit moving. Try it for yourself - every church and every pastor is not for everyone!!!

Great church. Plenty of parking, unless there's a special event going on- then the lot spaces might get a bit tight. People there are very friendly and the area is kept very neat. If I needed helping finding a room, there's always someone there to help point out where it's at.
