They’re great…..until something doesn’t go as planned, and then you get to see how they really treat customers. I have a 2023 Ram TRX that I bought new from these guys. I scheduled to take it in for an oil change, and to get some minor warranty items addressed (blinker stayed on, etc.). I was told “might be done today….might need it until tomorrow.” Well, I get the call the next day that says “oh hey….sorry to tell you that your vehicle was broken into last night. Some thieves tried to steal it. They broke out your back glass, and they ripped your dash apart trying to hotwire it. But they couldn’t get yours started apparently. They did steal a Hellcat and a 392 though. But hey, good news…..we’ve already called the cops and got a police report already. Yeah, YOU will need that police report when YOU call YOUR insurance carrier to do YOUR insurance claim.” I was like “I need to do a claim?!?” And the service rep quickly responded with his rehearsed line of “Well yeah….think of Wal-Mart. If your vehicle gets broken into while you’re inside shopping….Wal-Mart isn't responsible.” I said “Wal-Mart also doesn’t take possession of my car for warranty work.”
Since then, I’ve called everyone they gave me to contact….and I’ve been stone-walled. They went right into “protect the big company” mode, and to heck with what is right. I just spent $1,200 out of my own pocket to get my back glass fixed, and I have a quote for $400 to fix the dash.
So….buyer beware. They’re great, until it’s time to show their true colors. Then you’re just a number.
10/1/24 UPDATE:
Marshall Clark, thank you for your response. I tried to call you early this morning, knowing that I would need to leave a message, as I was calling before you guys opened. The # you left on your message is the general number to the dealership (press 1 for Service, press 2 for Sales, etc.). I did not have an option to get routed to your direct mail box, so I left a message with Service; hopefully it gets routed to you.
Unfortunately, it appears that you're going to get another crack at addressing the warranty item that required you guys to hold onto my vehicle for several days. I got into my truck this morning, and the item that the Service Department reportedly fixed (the screen in the middle being completely dead....so no music, no AC, no back-up camera, etc.) has stopped working again. So I will be reaching out to your Service department later this morning and re-scheduling it in there with you guys again. This time, I do not intend to sign away all my rights. If you have to take possession of my vehicle to fix my warranty item....and if my vehicle gets broken into again while it is in your possession....then I would expect you guys to fix the damages. Over the past month, I've had to pay over $1,600 out of my own pocket...for your Service Department to hold onto my truck and not fix the warranty item. If you can get past the big corporate mentality and see it from my perspective, you'd agree that it is quite frustrating, and disappointing.

After LHM Surprise refused to return calls and help with the mis-diagnosis, LHM Peoria stepped up and got my issues fixed. Seamless between them and my warranty company. Will def be back for service!

I always get great service at Larry Miller Dodge and my service advisor Alex makes me feel like they care about fixing my van issues. I appreciate being in good hands with a service team that cares. They even offer financing on expensive repairs. That’s a great customer service option. Oh and the popcorn treat is a snack I love.

Absolutely top notch customer service!!! Our sales guy Jeremy has been the best. Bought our 1st vehicle from him 4 years ago. Established a great relationship ever since. Now we bought our 2nd one from him. Super friendly, honest, and extremely knowledgeable. I cannot recommend him enough. And Nick the service manager is awesome to work with. I was turned off from using dealerships for service due to previous bad experiences. But Nick has earned all my future business. Great communicator, professional, helpful and a pleasure to work with.
