When in the bottom of the 9th, the preferred lender gave up on me. So, I reached out to Mitch with Desert Springs and I wish I would have just started with them.Not only did Mitch and his team get me a house loan, they also got my an amazing rate and they got the closing done in record timing!!Next time I need a mortgage, I’m going to Desert Springs. As well as, going to refer anyone I know that needs a mortgage too.Thanks Desert Springs!

By far the worst experience I've had with any business to date. I started my loan off with ***** ***** and then was recommended to Desert Springs Morgage from a colleague of mine. After speaking with Mitch I was told he could do a 3.125% interest rate which was much better than the 3.625 I was getting from wells ***** and less closing costs as well. So it would seem the obvious choice would be to switch even though I already paid the $700 appraisal fee cash. After asking for the rate lock document that day and failing to get it to me the rates had already gone up the next day and would now cost me offer $2000 to lock in. In addition he didn't factor in the length of rate lock when comparing them to wells fargos fees. Now its over $5000 in rate lock fees. What am I gonna do at this point?? I already canceled with ***** *****. From hear I thought things were getting better however they would only be getting worse and compounding and already bad experience. The communication became extremely poor and was only met with attitude when having questions about the Loan estimates that kept getting sent. Most of the time with wrong numbers. Fast forward to crunch time and they failed to check with the appraisal compnay for the final appraisal to make sure it was complete on time. This lead to more delays and guess what more fees to lock in the rate. Though not completely their fault because the selling agent was the worst possible agent that could have handled this transaction they definitely didn't do anything to ensure a smooth process from here. Buying 5 more days at $550 and still failed to pull all the documents together to ensure we closed on time. Never tied in with the escrow company and then sent me wire transfer instructions for the wrong company. Now I just wired transfered $13500 to the wrong escrow company at the final hour of the final day of closing for my rate lock. After this I got no follow up call or email and my calls were just ignored. Literally sitting here writing this review and have no idea what the steps are or whos paying for rate lock, etc. There is literally no excuse for this poor of an experience. I provided every document and statement requested to them within hours, had excellent credit and plenty of down payment and closing cost funds. This should have only been a smooth transaction.
