My work switched insurances and CVS Caremark denied my prescription and stated there was no alternative. I've been on this med for years and there are many alternatives. They simply don't want to pay for a script but gladly take my premiums every week. Nothing but red tape. This is totally unethical!

Avoid these people at all cost. The worst customer service experience I've had in the last 2 decades. The local CVS doesn't communicate with the CVS Caremark. Since my wife's company is large we have our own customer service line, but they seem to be of lesser experience. We switched to them last January, it's now October and I'm still not receiving my prescriptions accurately and timely. I've had 2 instances where there was a lapse in supplying my medications and they just say I'll have to pay for a short term supply and apply for reimbursement because they couldn't either correct an error on their part for providing the wrong medication or the prescription from local CVS isn't transferable to the CVS Caremark. Or at least the local CVS refused to share it. The lack of "care" in their approach is inexcusable. They offer a touch button response that tries everything possible to avoid having a person actually talk to you. Took 3 calls to figure out the right sequence to get a "live" person. Whom eventually said I'd have to solve the problem by contacting my doctor, getting a short term prescription and paying for it myself. Over 10 months into this and still not resolved. I miss Walgreens!

This is the most incompetent pharmacy I have the unfortunate luck of having to deal with! I live in Arizona so I keep asking for them to please send an Epinephrine pen with ice since it cannot be kept at more than 86 degrees this people have already sent me 3 in a cardboard box of course by the time they get to me they are over 100 degrees!!! How can you be that incompetent?? My orders always miss items such as bandaids, of gauze!! It is a battle to do my infusion every week, and when you call it takes 20 minutes because you have to talk to a specialist in your medication, specialist do not make me laugh they do not even know what an Epi pen is for!! Unfortunately this is the only choice I got with my insurance, so I am a war prisoner!!! How is this OK?????

I am forced by BlueCross to use Caremark. The service is so bad that that there have been multiple instances where CVS employees have denied the connection. Caremark seems to place NO value on service - from logging on to checking prices or even the simple chore of renewing a prescription. There have been instances where Caremark misdirected our prescriptions; lost track of who our doctor was and tried to refill a bunch of prescriptions {all they could find from some history file} not requested. The worst part is that they NEVER admit a mistake ["no, the system would never do that... you must have..."]. Nor do they seem to make improvements to their online system. What escapes me is how a first class outfit like BlueCross would partner with this outfit for multiple years

My rating for Silverscript is minus 200 On 3/24/2020, I picked up an Rx from CVS for 20 mg Xarelto and paid $462. The RX should have been for 15mg , not 20mg. After discovering on 4/3/2020 that I was given the incorrect dosage amount, I purchased the Xarelto 15 mg and paid $375.70 CVS, silver script, and I participated in a conference call on 4/3/2020 at 12:30 which lasted 52 minutes, and I called 866-235-5660. It is my understanding that those phone calls are recorded. During this phone conversation I was provided with the cost of the Xarelto 15 mg via SilverScript would be $571. During this conversation I asked , CVS Pharmacy manager, if I could apply my GoodRX discount, he stated yes, and I purchased the 15mg for $375.70. I asked the SilverScript representative. If Silver script was affiliated with GoodRx, he stated yes. I called (866-235-5660 at 10:55 am) SilverScript again today to obtain the name of a SilverScript employee Steven, and to see what my co-pay would be for the 15mg Xarelto $462, and that the $462 I paid on 3/23/2020 was not received by SilverScript. I received the attached notice stating that 15 mg has been approved. The 15 mg was only for 21 days, and that expired on 4/15/2020. As of today, I am to start taking the 20 mg dosage. For your review I am attaching copies of phone messages left for me, RX invoices, original rx, and letter from SilverSpript. From the onset this has been troubling, and each day it only gets worse. I need someone to look into this matter for me, and advise. Why the lies?

I am in my second year with CareMark (now SilverScript). My experience with them has been almost entirely negative. Mix ups with prescriptions and doctors. Major inconsistencies in what they communicate by telephone, emails , mail and website. My specific problem today is getting my Acu-Chek diabetic test strips. When they filled my last 90-day prescription, they sent strips that had been recalled as defective. Shortly thereafter they informed me of the recall by letter suggesting that I discontinue using the strips with specified lot numbers. All of my strips were from those lots. When I tried to replace the strips, I was informed that it was too early because the prescription had just been refilled - with the defective ones. I was told to wait 90 days for a new supply. Repeated periods on hold and tranfers here and there resulted in no resolution. I was instructed to return the strips to the manufacturer who would replace them in some unspecified period of time. The only positive part of this experience is that my life does not depend on this prescription. What will I do when it does?

I love working at CVS Caremark. The pay is not good for the stressful angry upset members you have to deal with. Even if the members were nice the pay isnt good vs working for one of there competitors.

My Company (AT&T) uses Caremark as our prescription drug supplier. They do a very good job of staying on top of prices increases. Very satisfied.

Just on the phone for an hour with CVS caremark trying to find out why they rejected my compound pharmacy claims claims. After an hour of back and forth with a senior rep, I'm told my plan doesn't cover compound pharmacies!! When I sent in my claims I got them back stating some info was missing to resubmit. I called went over everything showing that all info was correct. This was on 10-29-18. I called back today, 11-12-18 to see what the status was and after an hour was told nothing was covered. So unprofessional! Why wasn't that stated in the letter they sent or stated by the first rep I talked to?? I hope the city of Mesa finds a new pharmacy company to deal with. Unbelievable!
