In the last 6 months, the electricity has been shut off completely twice. The first time for 12 hours, the second time for 24 HOURS. No rent abatement was offered. Yesterday the water was off for 8 straight hours and not a single email or text was sent until the 8th hour. They have offered nothing and the water pressure is at maybe 20% of what it used to be until they fix it. Been here for years, since the new ownership took over, this building has been nothing but a headache. Shame as it used to be fun living here. Also worth mentioning that the new company took away privileges for posting or commenting in the resident portal app. I added a comment about in the future, sending out emails or texts for water outages. This comment was denied. Feels more like bad daycare than a home here.

DO NOT READ ANY REVIEWS PRIOR TO JANUARY 2024. THE ORIGINAL MANAGEMENT SOLD OUT TO MARK-TAYLOR AND THE NEW MANAGEMENT IS HORRENDOUS.
In December of 2023 we were told that the property was being sold to another landlord and that it would be a seamless transition. In fact, we were told that the management team we had at the time would continue to work for the apartment only for them to be fired within the first week of Mark-Taylor (referred to as MT) consuming the property.
The minute that MT took over this place it all went downhill. WHERE DO I EVEN BEGIN?! The amenities are a joke. The pool and hot tub are constantly closed or the doors are locked, and when it's not closed the chemicals in the hot tub are near toxic. The gym hasn't been cleaned in weeks (if not months) which is evident by the lack of sanitizing wipes for the machines. They have four luxurious elevators, one that is reserved for maintenance and three for the residents, all of which are constantly rotating between being usable to completely broken. I've had days where I wait 10 minutes for an elevator. And if you tour here and think “wow, that elevator came fast!” it’s because they have at least one (if not all of them) parked on the first floor at all times. I was once locked in an elevator ON MY ANNIVERSARY for 2.5 hours and not offered compensation of any kind. A water bottle would have been nice :(
At least we have community, right? Wrong. We USED to have community events all the time. The previous management team worked hard to set up cool events. We haven’t had a community event since December. And no, I am not counting “New Managers Introduce Themselves on the 15th Floor for 10 Minutes” as a community event, MT. Want to let your friends come over? Using the Henri app you can let people in the door whenever you want! Oh, but they can't use the elevators half the time because their code isn't working or the elevators are broken.
Oh, that same Henri app has some other cool features I want to mention. First, we have a community board! Where you can request to post something and have it get rejected by management in 3-7 business days. Previous management trusted that the residents here wouldn’t post anything inappropriate. There used to be NO filter and no “pending approval” but with Mark-Taylor management there is newfound censorship. We had a person lose their wallet and they didn’t find it for several days because the resident who had found it was being blocked by this new filtering system.
The package room is hilarious. We were having theft issues so they put up some thin sheet wall and a flimsy door and called it "secured," but don't worry! You can download ANOTHER app just to open the door! Your key fob that you have to use in the elevators?? No, that'd be ridiculous. Instead I can unlock a plastic door from anywhere with the push of a button after waiting for an app to load for 15 seconds. Once you finally get into the room it’s just a closet filled to the brim with boxes you have to sort through. Where’s the safety exactly??
Flooding. Everyone’s worst nightmare. It flooded from floors 18 to 15 and they had to bring in a bunch of machines to try and dry it out and those machines leaked all over our floors, ironically. It’s okay though, they told us their plan is to just give it the “landlord special” and paint over all of it. Enjoy!
And at the core of it all, the management. I have thrown many unsubtle shots at Mark-Taylor and it is due to their recklessness and lack of care for their residents. We hardly have staff at the front desk these days and if they are working they’re working on sending passive aggressive emails about auditing us, losing paperwork, and increasing the amount of times per year they want to enter our apartments unannounced. The staff is incredibly unprofessional and rude when responding to community requests. Anytime you want to post something on the

Outside of the view and some of the property amenities (when they’re not out of order), it’s definitely been a very chaotic, poorly communicative experience. From faulty appliances to resolving them, I would never recommend this community to anyone. While they have been transitioning through an acquisition, there has been literally no team in the office (on site) to assist in anyone. Their new corporate team doesn’t answer emails or seem to take concern as many of us send emails with zero communication in response. Additionally, they sold an idea of organized electric vehicle charging which has been a disaster as well. Do yourself a favor and take a look around downtown before selecting this property.

amazing views, amazing amenities, terrible management. One time I lost my keys and one of the staff members got mad at me because she had to make another one. Ma'am it's your job. You know who you are. Security is MID. Heat doesn't work properly. Tubs get dirty quick & overfill along with sinks. Have to go downstairs everyday if you want your food deliveries. 6 months lease option was the best thing I could have ever done. Overall, three stars saved them from a one star because theyre pet friendly, the views, amenities and the cleaning service is quick. Look into moving at the adeline!

READ ALL FOR HONEST UNBIASED REVIEW.PICTURES AT THE END.I’ve lived here about a week now. While the location is great for those interested in downtown / highrise living and the main areas & amenities are cleaned and well maintained. I have no qualms about the building itself. The service here however could use a good amount of work. The move in process alone was insanely stressful. Moving in from out of state I had set a pre-determined move in date and based everything from my flight to the shipping of my belongings on that date, etc. They tried to make me POSTPONE dates less than 24 hours prior to my scheduled move in. (I was literally at the airport when they let me know via an email I could have missed, not even a phone call)After going back & forth on that topic they agreed to let me have my original move in date. ( not that I gave much of a choice)However I did not realize that would mean moving into a subpar unit. Or poorly taken care of Unit. My First day here. Trash from the previous tenant was still in the Unit, Handles on my drawers were broken. Ceiling had leakage & water damage, floor was scraped up as was the front door and much more.During my move in I wasn’t even given any semblance of a tour or any help with what to do and not to do. Was never shown where my mailbox was (they aren’t labeled by unit number) so unless you know, you can’t find it. And for someone moving into the building sight unseen. You would think that a tour or introduction to the building is the least you could do.I wasn’t given a parking pass until a whole week into my lease. Had to pay to park in the building I literally lived in nearly every time I left or came back to the apt for a week. (I understand systems take time but damn)I’ll update this review as my stay progresses and IF things start to change for the better.Update: The mailbox key they gave me for my unit. (The one that they never even told me where it was) 1 week later I finally got the information and the key I have, doesn’t even work for my assigned mailbox.I was also promised an introductory email. To get me set up on all the amenities and local systems such as the call button at our front door. But it wasn’t until I reminded them another 10 days later about my lack of ability to let people up that they opted to finally send that email.P.S.This isn’t a dig at the people. Service team here are nice individuals, Overall the place just needs to get things together systems and operations wise. Everything here besides the cleaning team feels like it’s done to the absolute bare minimum so far.So if you’re looking for a stress free or seamless living experience. I wouldn’t recommend, if you don’t mind dealing with unnecessary or easily avoidable problems and issues for a little while then go ahead. It feels like the last tenant moved out and all they did was take his key and give it to me. No care or prep on the unit whatsoever. Even my move in checklist paperwork had a different owners name and lease date pre printed on it.?Update: over 1 month in. I still haven’t received a parking spot, never got a welcome packet to inform me of the buildings partnerships so I’ve been losing money on dining spend, never got access to the Amazon lockers in the mail room so unable to even receive Amazon orders they’re just stuck there. Now I’m starting to believe that while the systems need work people here are either forgetful, lazy , or just don’t care because I’ve brought all of these concerns up more than once and aired them out via this review as well as the residents app. Also got hit with ghost charges that don’t even show itemized in the app so I’m not even sure what they took the money for. I had to take off autopay and remove my card that way random charges wouldn’t automatically populate.Dropped my review from 2-1 stars because of the minimal effort

Do not move here! They have a SERIOUS internal problem of packages going “missing”. I have multiple instances and have lost thousands from their staff stealing. One of the front girls signed for a package from christian louboutin and it magically “went missing” after SHE signed for it. Another package was delivered directly to my door - and UPS showed a picture as well as cityscape showing video footage of it being delivered - but they then said they “cannot show anymore footage due to privacy” to show who stole it! Clearly it was one of their own or they’d be showing who stole it!On top of that - the elevators are always slow or broken, my fridge broke while I was out of town because they don’t upkeep the appliances and I lost hundreds of dollars of groceries, the list of terrible things about this place goes on and on! Avoid at all cost.

Always love it here and everything is clean and the staff always looks out for us. Love the high rise lifestyle and plan to stick around and enjoy the property

I've been a resident of this community for a year and have been extremely satisfied with the customer service and overall experience I received during my residency. Natasha, the Assistant Manager, has always been extremely welcoming and helpful during our interactions which is something I've always appreciated. The entire staff has created a very memorable experience with their positive attitudes and dedication to the entirety of the community. As someone who works in the Property Management industry, it is clear this team is an asset to this company. I ultimately decided not renew and move to a different location to be closer to my work but I am absolutely going to keep this community in mind for the future.

Honestly the quality of this place has really gone down over the years, aside from the filthy common areas, cracked tiles everywhere, no concierge, and rent increases, there just isn't much of a reason to pick this building. I would recommend looking elsewhere as the people who work here don't really care about your experience.

I agree with Alissa. When the Elevators broke down, they had to spend so much money fixing them. I believe that is why they are messing with the Utility charges, they want their money back so the tenants will in fact pay for the Elevators to be fixed. After all, we have to pay for everything else as well. This place has gone downhill ever since Property Manager Nate Schwab left 2 years ago. He ran this place in the most professional and courteous manner. He was an Expert with Communication, and was extremely skilled at knowing how to act, how to handle, every situation. He had Weekly Activities, Weekly Wine Down Wednesdays and Monthly Grab and Go lunches with Sandwiches and Chips! Everyone enjoyed living here at that time. He would have done regular maintenance on the Elevators, and would never have tolerated them being broken at any time! He was the Best Manager they ever had. It's sad that he left us, and now we have to put up with people who don't know where their heads are at. Greystar now, at it's worst!

What a terrible experience from step 1. I was interested in this property because of its location. I had read several bad reviews but decided to give a tour. When I arrived I was greeted by Natasha. I mentioned from the beginning that I read a bunch of bad reviews and wanted to know if there was a bigger problem in the building, her response was silent at first then something to the effct of well nobody named me...interesting response. After finding an apartment and being emailed about it being available, I decided to apply online this was minutes after she said it was available. I get an email minutes later from Natasha saying that "I know this may sound crazy; but #XXXX has been leased" was literally minutes after her email. At this point I had already applied and they took my deposit which was weird imo. I have been waiting 2 weeks and guess what zero responses to my emails on getting my $800 deposit back. Very shady business practices I'm my opinion and with no ownership of thier actions i could only imagine what its like to live here. I would never recommend Cityscape Residences to friends or strangers. I don't think you want find out the hard way like how I did...I'd recommend staying away.

Horrible experience. Been here for over 4 years and the service went from 5 stars to 0. I do not recommend anyone moving in. Prices are high, management is rude, elevators were broken for so long, no AC in the lobby, UPS/FedEx had to call random tenants to let them up because no one is downstairs to let them in.

A lower price would be nice for this place
