We pick up carne asada and other meat from here at least once a month. It is always good, and my coworkers fight to take the leftovers home. Great place to get a pound or five of great food.

My original review of this place was 5 starts. But today I got my order and the chicken tasted like machine grease or WD-40, it is a very distinct and disgusting taste. I am not surprised the food has been contaminated, based off of the way the food is handled. I would usually give a business the opportunity to make things right, but I wouldn't trust them not to mess with my food in the future. So disappointing because the food is usually good, but low health standards has ruined this place.

They play with your order. I placed an order and watched the cashier begin packing the order. I asked him if he could cut up my meat. He walked back to the other side and took a piece of meat out of the container, and sat it on another tray. I asked him why he took the meat out of the box. He acts as if he didn't understand me, and then he took 2 more pieces of meat from the container. I asked another cashier to fix another plate, and he began to speak to the other guy who had fixed the first plate. They spoke in Spanish, and then they laughed. As the guy began to fix the second plate. I walked out. They were calling me back, but I kept walking out the door. The moral to the story is that they played in my face. Don't ever play with me or my money!

Employee serving food stated " chicken been sitting here since these morning " which is terrible ..people can get sick and thats a dept of health issue..but place was busy so it was okay.

Now I’m only giving it 3 stars because I think there’s a race issue everytime I go there it’s a different price like 1 day it’s 25 for a slab of ribs or it’s 30 then 1 time the kid charged me 35..They do have good food but I hate depending on who it is it’s a different price ..They do it again and I’m going to say something but them ribs do be on point…

The food was terrible. I ordered two tacos they tasted like they were deep fried in old grease. There was four of us they brought us one basket of chips, I asked for other basket so they charged me more. The owner said if we were at separate tables we would not have been charged extra. Totally does not make sense,so if there is four of you at one table you get one basket of chips at no charge,if there is only one or two of you then you a basket of chips. They lost four customers over 99cent basket of chips. Unbelievable

I have been buying roast beef at that butcher shop for years but I have been there twice and the meat is very thick and raw and has a lot of skin.

Pretty consistent food. Pretty good I usually get their platillo. Either ribs or chicken wings. Service is good no complaints
