Extremely frustrated. Bought a handbag on September 1, 2023 from Burlington on Ray Road in Phoenix for $69.99. After two weeks or so, noticed the handle was fraying. Liking the bag, I decided instead of returning it, I would try to repair it with glue. Within the next couple of weeks, I saw the same issue that had occurred on the handle was happening on the bottom as well. I went in today to return it, or at the very least get a store credit. As it was past the 30 days, had been used, I am not a 'preferred member', and I didn't have the tags...I was told there was absolutely nothing they could do for me. I said it is a defect in the construction of the bag. Yes, I had used it, and no, I didn't save the tags; but it should last more than a month. I will never shop here again. I am so disgusted with the lack of customer service in this world we have found ourselves living in. Since when does a $70 handbag have a life expectancy of a month? Shame on you, Burlington, for hanging your hat on your policies. There are clearly extenuating circumstances in this case which should supersede your policy and remedy it for your customer...preferred or not.

Older black woman on register was sorta rude. Said customers are nosy for walking up to someone with a light next to them who had just taken a customer. Good prices for decent clothes

I visited this store today and had a very friendly checkout with “Bobbie” The store was clean, organized and had a great selection of unique home goods.(thats all i was there for?)

It is what it is. If you're looking for the nicest layout, most amazing staff, and top quality clothing you're not gonna find it at any of these stores. With that said... it's close. Clothing - hit and miss, again, to be expected. Service, overall good but you arent dealing with the most highly trained. The clothing quality is generally average to great. Burlington has always been a favorite of mine for a quick wardrobe refresh.

This store is a mess! Merchandise all over the place, including the floor. I was there early on a Sunday morning, so it should have been in good shape. Didn't look like the store had been picked up in days.

I'm not the type of person that likes to make bad reviews and probably this people are referring to prior management. Today I was at the store in Ahwatukee. I didn't see any employees at only 2 registers open with 30 people in line. but here is the deal. Those 2 people at the register were the manager and a cashier that was learning. nobody else at the store. I even ask a lady that was cleaning how come there are no registers open. she said because nobody else is working. Not only that but the cashier learning was really learning she didn't and the manager that was cashiering kept leaving the register to go and move the shopping carts around the store and organize stuff while they still had 30 people in line. I asked her in a very polite waY. ARE THERE ANY OTHER REGISTERS OPENING, WE'VE BEEN IN LINE FOR 30 MINUTES. SHE GAVE ME THE WORSE ATTITUDE EVERY WITH A FACE AND SAYING EXCUSE ME??????? I FELT THAT SHE WAS ABOUT TO HIT ME. I SAID I WAS ONLY ASKING IF THERE ARE MORE REGISTERS OPENING. SHE SAID NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER AT A STORE. WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE. OF COURSE I LEFT THE LAME CLOTHES AND LEFT THE LAME STORE.

I really like Burlington's assortment of clothing, home goods & beauty products.The only negative I have is the long lines & only 1-2 cashiers.

Store is organized and retail associates are willing to help with a great smile and attitude. It was a pleasant experience. I found what I was lioking for and checkout was a breeze.
