My head gasket was leaking back in May, got it replaced here. Was recently having some issues that a google search said could likely be caused by the head gasket leaking again, so I called and they said they would take a look and replace it if necessary even though the 90 day warranty had passed because it had only been about 2000 miles since I was here last. Turns out there wasn't a leak but they cleaned up the engine for me free of charge so it'll be easy to tell next time if there is one!
Great customer service, I'm very happy with the way they were willing to take responsibility for the potential issue even though it ended up being nothing anyway!

I wish I had known about this place years ago. I had been looking for a good mechanic. The name put me off, because I thought they only did brakes, but they're good about a lot of things. Jamie in particular really knows his stuff. Service is courteous, honest and efficient.

I took my car in primarily for a tire rotation but also an oil change since it was time. Brian was my service rep and I made sure to say twice when I dropped it off that I wanted the tires rotated.
I live 3.5 hours away and when I come to Phoenix I try to get as much done as possible. I also travel throughout the state alone in pretty remote areas for work so vehicle safety is really important to me. I picked up my car and was told everything was done. I looked at my tires a week and 1,000+ miles later and realized the tires were never rotated. I know this because there’s an uneven wear pattern on the front tires and that’s why I wanted them rotated to the back.
When my husband called and spoke to Brian, Brian laughed asking us what we wanted him to do now since we were 3.5 hours away? And how we even knew they weren’t rotated. It’s extremely frustrating when something you waited for wasn’t done and then to be laughed at is just extra insulting. Brian’s more concerned about making jokes than doing his job.
Your job is to maintain people’s vehicles so they can feel confident and safe on the road and I take that very seriously.
At this point I have doubts they even did the oil change. I have 0 confidence in Brian.

Thank you for getting my tail lights working—I feel much safer driving at night now. The traction control light is also no longer an issue.
One thing I'd suggest is improving communication during the service. No one explained what was being done while I was waiting, which made the time feel longer. A quick update would have helped.

Terrible, miss quoted me then once truck wheels off I get a call telling oops I'm sorry but your back breaks now need changed then I told it's ready to pick up and they didn't bleed the lines. My break pedal went all the way to the floor. Also just noticed I'm completely missing a bolt

Brian and the guys at Brake Masters did a good job. The problem was diagnosed correctly and everything works great! They were flexible on time, had fair pricing, and were nice people. Brake Masters on Thomas made this experience easy.

I recently had to visit Brake Masters for an older car I had and was really impressed with the kindness, clarity and great service received. I've since purchased a newer vehicle and let them know that my intention is to create a relationship with a service shop that I can trust and not feel taken advantage of in. I plan on visiting this location for all my routine maintenance needs.
