Banco America was my bank for more than 12 years and in this year 2023 they closed my account without explanation. I called customer service and they did not know why they closed the account and then I asked how they are going to return my money in the account. They responded by calling the next day. I don't know why they closed my account. There is no explanation. If they have a lot of money there, they better withdraw something. There is something wrong there.

Unfriendly. Unprofessional. Claimed not to have a single $100 bill in the entire branch. Don't go if you want courtesy or cash.

Called a dozen numbers before I was able to get a person. All I was trying to do was pay my credit card bill online. Wesbite broken. App broken and didnt recognize that I even had a product. I'll make my payment on my only transaction on my card and I will close it out. Not worth the headache. Two hours wasted for trying to pay my bill.

I felt unwelcomed when I entered to this location. Note that I just went to ask for information regarding how to open an account and if I can receive money from Mexico and the answers were simple, "We can't just open an account for you to receive the money," "any bank here in the USA can receive wire deposits." "You can find a company that can do that for you" and "you need from $400 to $500 to open an account" which I found out online that says that their minimum opening account can be with $100.Also, the wire deposit or transfer from Mexico will be monthly because I have a property that is being rented in that country. Plus, they are very unprofessional because the banker was standing there in the lobby talking to me, why not seating with that future customer like myself for more formal talking. The main reason I came to this location is that people from my country have stated that Bank of America is affiliated with Scotiabank located in Mexico which I thought they would be some kind of a better transfer process of deposits. well, I will keep doing business with Wells Fargo, because at least they are more professional and don't judge you.I heard from family members and friends before that the way you dress that's the way they treat you in this bank, and sadly it's true.

Went in to get access to my deceased uncles finances and the Manger wouldn't sit down with me to see if I had the correct documentation immediately told me at the door that I didn't have the right papers and that I'd need to contact the county. Proceeded to kinda argue with me about it so I left went to a location 2 miles away and they immediately sat me down confirmed my documents and started a cashiers check for me that day. So sad that the MANAGER of a location would shy away from work just because they don't want to deal with it, I understand handling estates isn't easy but I really hope this Manager didn't make his way into that position by working like this.

You'll spend more time waiting in line, than you will interacting with the teller. The employees are helpful, but the wait is ridiculous. If you're in the area, save yourself some time and go to the BofA on 16th Street & Morten.

Was in line 30mins to make a payment. Multiple people there but didn't even bother to open a second window. One of the employees was "occupied" but in reality he was just looking at the whole line....

Despite being 20-year member, authenticated with my PICTURE-ID debit card and PIN, and in possession of Arizona's official mobile ID drivers license, manager refused to accept my CASH deposit because I didn't have a "hard copy" of that license. They made me walk outside, into the heat, to step in line on foot in the drive-up ATM and use that instead to deposit the very same cash into the very same account. Idiotic.

If I could chose the option of zero stars that is what we would give this bank and branch... my husband and I went to this location today after having been customers for many years. We wanted to get 2 cashiers checks as we do 2 or 3 times a year. We had everything typed out since they require the address as well as the name of the recipient (they started that requirement a couple of years back resulting in my having to leave the line I stood in for a long time and leave the bank to get the address.) Today I gave them the info they require and they said a second form of id was required. I gave them my university id from the local state university. I teach there. My photo is on the id. She couldn't accept that id. Went for her manager. Manager said i had to answer a question. The question was "when did i open the account?" Maybe you remember when you opened a bank account years ago because that is almost as memorable as your wedding day . . . Right? It went on and on and the bottom line is Bank of America would not give me my money from my account! I'm livid. By the way, i have accounts at 4 other banks and never get treated like the B of A which in my household will now be referred to as The Bank of Assholes!!!If I can save one person from the miserable experience of dealing with this bank -- I'm happy!
