Do not bank with BofA. Their check hold policies and practices are unreasonably long. They do not honor the hold stated on your receipt. Your deposit can be flagged by their system as high risk and then additional holds are placed. They do not tell you that though until after the fact. Even if you call and complain, they will just tell you there is nothing they can do. Checks clear in 3 to 5 business days, so a hold of 10 days is extensive. Most other banks will release at least $100 to $200 right away, and then the remainder in the next few days. Not Bank of America though.. stay away if you want your money in a timely manner! If this has happened to you, I would encourage you to join me in filing complaints with the Office of the Comptroller for the Currency, the BBB, the Attorney General's Office/Consumer Complaints, and to BofA's Feedback email address, which can be found by googling complaints to BofA.

They treat you like you're broke before you even say what you need. I had some EE Bonds from when I was born in 1988 worth 1,500 dollars just needed to cash them in, and it had to be done at BOA.. otherwise there are plenty of banks and credit unions better.. they charge you ever month just for having an account lol.

The worst Bank. Always a terrible long wait. They have tellers just walking around don't look like they are doing anything for the 30 minutes I'm standing in line. And then there is only ONE person at the window. This is number 1 reason why I do not want to switch to this bank. But there are many more.

I wish I could give zero stars. I only come here because I have to for work. 40+ minutes everytime I come in. There is never more than one teller...EVER. This cuts into the rest of my day & puts me behind.

I had a large check that I needed part if right away. B of A was the issuing bank. Issuing banks are supposed to cash their own checks as far as I remember. I knew they would not have the full amount and I did not want to clean them out, so I did what I had previously done at Wells Fargo, asked for a portion in cash and a cashiers check for the remaining. They were willing to give me the cash right away, but wanted to hold the check 24 hours for the cashiers check of the remaining amount. I was fine with that. However, nit being a bank of america account holder they told me there was nothing they could do for me. That if I wanted to open an account someone would be there Tues to help me with that. Ridiculous! You are the issuing bank! You should cash your own checks!

Go to a different BOA location. Michelle was not rude to me but her attitude and demeanor were not what you would expect from a banker in a professional setting. Their system went down so I asked if they could setup an appointment for me at another location, I was told they could not do that and I would have to take care of it myself. Did I mention I had to call at least 7 times to set a time for my appointment before someone actually picked up the phone?

BOA claims that customers are 100% protected against fraud on debit cards and they are safe to use online. I had a company based in Hong Kong clean out my account with tons of bogus charges and I filed a claim. I was treated like a liar and a criminal the entire time. Belittled, crossexamined and after sending in a letter and 30 pages of proof and supporting documentation surrounding my claim, I was asked -- to send in a letter and supporting documentation after waiting weeks for my money back. Anyway, after 2 months they denied the claim based on some screenshots the company sent in to counter my claim that made zero sense and proved nothing. In the meantime, I lost my apartment and could not pay my bills because BOA did not honor their protection promise. It seemed to me that they looked for every reason not to help me. So thanks BOA, you've helped CHINA ruin my credit, leave me without an apartment, and struggling everyday since this happened. This was my savings and all I had. Youre not good people. Youre not what you claim to be. You don't care about your customers. All I can say is I give up, can't get ahead in this worls when even the people you trust to protect your money turn against you. I hope you have a great profitable quarter and that China enjoys the money they took from me. They certainly knew what they were doing so I suppose they earned it.

Customer Service at this location is extremely poor. There is no way to talk to anyone at this branch. When you dial this branch's local number, you are always routed to the national 800 number. I wasted over 40 minutes and still wasn't successful in trying to get a document notarized. I set up an appt online to meet with a notary at this branch. The document needed to have a Jurat attached and I tried calling the branch several times over the course of the week to see if their notary can supply a Jurat but no one from the branch answered. I COULDN'T EVEN LEAVE A MESSAGE FOR A CALL BACK!! The day before the appt I spent 20 minutes talking to a rep at the national call center and she tried to put me through this branch and got the same 'no response'. When I showed up for the appt the next day, they told me the notary could not provide a Jurat for me. Talk about A WASTE OF MY TIME !!!!!!

This location has given me terrible service. I go to this location for convenience and it has been a disappointment. My first time experience here I have waited a long time and they didn't have the denominations I needed for my cash back. It happened to me a total of 3 times that I have gone here. Just a few days ago I went in 10 minutes to close to exchange 20's for 100's and again they didn't have large bills because they were running low so I asked the teller how much can she give me and she said no larger bills? I wanted about $1700 in larger because I wanted fewer bills. And yet she couldn't satisfy anything. Very poor customer experience for a member that has been with you all for over 10 years
