If I can give a negative I would. The reservation was at certain time,we got there and the rental was not ready, the agent Angela said they called me to make sure I was getting the rental and when I arrived she told me that she wanted to make sure I was getting the rental so she can clean it. When we get there to get our rental it was still dirty and on top of that nothing worked on the vehicle, then she promised to reduce the rental by a half day when we returned the vehicle and we did and she only gave 75 off the rental which was not half day. She cleaned the van and made us wait 1.5 hours for her to clean. Horrible place to get a vehicle. Don't go there. The agent said she always gets bad reviews and I know why. She said she wanted to help people and that is not true.

-0 star if that was a thing From the moment I walked in I spoke and said I had a reservation Angela had a rude attitude like she didn’t want to provide service to me the office had a bad smell just like her attitude….just sad and rude…she needs to learn customer service …other than that my day was still an success

Substandard independent avis/budget franchise location.Chatty and grossly inefficient sole desk agent.No after hours drop-off.Basically a one-room rented in a motel location with literally no dedicated secured parking lot.

Update 7/20/2023: I am fully aware I am not on the lease agreement, so I did not ask for a refund. It was moot to mention it. It is clear tou didn't read the review or you would have suggested I have my SISTER reach out. My review was to suggest that you simply do better, but it is clear Avis is set on having poor customer service.The car we picked up was dirty. It was covered in pet hair. Then, on the return, the attendant closed out the transaction before getting confirmation from Hopper, cheating my Sister out of $75.00 or a day with the vehicle. She didn't attempt to provide her a resolution. I will never rent a car from Avis.

I don't know why this place has such poor reviews! I had a great experience! Angela is awesome,I was in & out in 30 minutes, that's with 2 customers ahead of me. I had no issues renting or returning my rental. Thank you Angela!

Unprofessional service. People running the place “run errands” during work day, to quote the operator at this branch. So hours are innacurate. Don’t expect timely service.

Rude, and very poorly run. My car was in the shop for a few days and I booked a rental car online to get to work and back. I pre-paid a day early and checked in ahead of time. When I arrived to pick it up the rental was declined because the machine that verified IDs "gave a frowny face" and she could not explain why. She told me I'd need official paperwork from the DMV verifying my driver license was valid (which was impossible to obtain on the weekend even had I been so inclined) to continue with the rental. I had my passport to verify I am who I say I am (the website said I might need another form of ID), but I was denied because of that frowny face she could not explain. My ID hasn't been tampered with. It doesn't look like it's been tampered with, but I couldn't rent a car because I didn't have official paperwork saying it hadn't been tampered with. She also had no ability to refund me the more than $300 I'd paid ahead of time, so I had to call and talk to customer service to get my money back in "3-10 business days". I respect their right to take steps to protect their assets, but I had two official, valid forms of government issued ID with no evidence whatsoever of tampering. They had my ID info ahead of time because I had checked in early, at the very least they could have denied me while other car rental options were still open. I chose them because my car died unexpectedly and they were open on Sunday. Getting a car Sunday instead is Saturday (when I booked and paid for the rental) let me save one day's payment. Had I known I would be turned away, I would have gone elsewhere Saturday when there were other options. I would not go back or recommend them to anyone if you have literally any other option.

Zero stars. Terrible. I will never, ever book with Avis again. I arrived late as a result of air and taxi delays from the airport. People were still there and told me I’d have to come back the next day…in a very rude and blunt way. I was left outside the office - with my daughter, literally in a dust storm - while this lady shut down left. I’ve never been treated so rudely. Stay away from these jerks.

Very impressed, Angela was like a time machine for customer service. She helped me in stand out ways when there was no answer from any other rental company. Even trying to work with Budget corporate. Angela didn't have to help me, she didn't even get credit for the rental in the end but I will problem not even look online any longer I will call her directly. Thank You Angela!!! P.S. take it easy on her customers and potential customers almost everyone she deals with is in a hurry or is at the end or beginning of a stressful trip. A little bit of patience and consideration goes a long way. My initial first impression was not great, I experienced delays in my rental however it was not her fault I reserved from online and she had nothing to do with that system. I ended up having to wait 2 hours before she could get the car that the online system reserved for me but no one provided the car to her and she had to work out getting the car from the airport while also servicing other customers. I was initially short with her and frustrated with the situation. But once I treated the staff with respect outside of the circumstance I was very pleased with the experience. And then much later Angela saved the day when no one else was willing or supposedly able.

Bad bad service, I rented a car for 3 days, I rented it on Thursday September 16 and returned it Sunday 19 Noon and returned it on Sunday at 10 am, by Tuesday I already had a charge on my credit card of $ 2628.00 thanks to God, the card declined the charge, and to top it off on Friday I already had an Email that the car that returned on Sunday was not in its inventory, I had to go to Avis and look for the car and there it was in the Parking, I took a video and photos as proof that the car was there.! Bad service bad service !!

The owner of this Avis/budget is a B ! T C H!!!! She was extremely rude and angry for no reason and wasn’t helpful at all. I ended up calling Avis, getting my money back and booking somewhere else.
