My family and I adopted a kitten 2 days ago. He was the runt so he was very small. We were told he was 11 weeks old (we were told today he was actually around 8 weeks.) He came to us very sick but had no signs until 36 hours after we got him. This morning we brought him back to get help. They rushed him back without letting us back there. They had to put him down this morning.

Excellent place, I felt very bad to see so many pets there but I can't take anything more than what I'm allowed where I live, the adoption costs are a little high but I will continue looking for the size I want.

We adopted our newest family member from here! Staff was friendly, kennels were super clean and the animals were well taken care of. We witnessed a staff member gently calming one of the dogs in the kennels by sitting with it and just talking quietly as it was a nervous wreck from the other dogs barking. 10/10 recommend them to anyone. They truly care about their animals well being.

Do not adopt from here!!!! Do NOT. After years of looking into buying a dog, I finally decided to do it. I had never been more excited and I was going through a really hard time in life so I thought it would be the best time to have a companion to get me through. The exact opposite happened when I adopted from here and caused me unbelievable trauma, stress, and depression. I adopted instead of buying because I wanted to save a life. The dog I adopted not only came home with me sick and lethargic after they had told me she was just “shy” but had a rare disease that wasn’t disclosed in the paperwork. This was all found out just days after bringing the dog home. After reaching out to the shelter multiple times in panic after the dog I had brought home immediately started acting lethargic I was sending emails, calls, showing up to the shelter, doing everything I possibly could they gave 0 damn about what was going on, had 0 remorse, and gaslight me. All the emails I had sent went to spam due to the receptionist giving me a spam email, I spent days and days upset panicking about what to do. They ended up taking the dog back which was the last thing I wanted to do but ultimately the best decision after plenty of vet visits within the first WEEK of adopting the dog and the fact that she was diagnosed with a rare disease and had to be kept in the ICU in their care. After spending hundreds on vet bills just days after adopting her, not only did they get to take the dog back, they didn’t reimburse me for the frantic vet visits without direction that I had asked them for. Something needs to be done in shelters where they’re doing bloodwork BEFORE letting people bring home a dog. This has cause immense trauma to me who was just someone trying to do a good deed. These dogs need to be inspected NOT BY VET STUDENTS. Not only am I now out of money, but I am now without a dog and feel immense guilt and sadness. I really didn’t want to write this review. But it has been a month, no refunds, no remorse, just a bunch of unanswered emails and leftover sadness. and not any part of me wants to give up fighting for the rights of these poor animals being sent to homes way too early without proper care. DO NOT ADOPT FROM HERE.

Very nice staff took my dog here for euthanasia. It was only 150$ you are there for sedation and then they take them in the back for the euthanasia. A emergency vet will charge you 450$ so it just depends if you want to stay the whole time.

Adopted a dog from their 2 years ago, was an easy process and everything. But after a vet visit it came to my knowledge he had valley fever at the time of adoption…I was not told this by the humane society not even sure if they tested for it. Valley Fever should be tested for with how prevalent it is in our state.

Reception staff was fine but the staff member who worked with us for possibly adopting a dog treated us like we knew nothing about owning an animal. This was even after we repeatedly mentioned we have owned many over the years. On top of that, it was like she didn't want us to adopt the dog we went to see. I obviously don't want their staff to act like commission-based salesmen, but to keep saying this that make it clear she didn't want us to adopt this specific dog was frustrating.

We went in looking to adopt a cat. We ended up adopting two brothers!
The shelter is very clean and well-organized. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We had our eye on a couple kittens but luckily, thanks to a mix up we met our forever furbabies, Castor and Pollux. The process was easy and they made sure to inform us well on each cats' medical history. I definitely recommend this shelter if you're ever looking for a new companion.

Staff was very caring and friendly, a little slow but amazing. Considering free adoptions, they did a wonderful job. Kennels are clean, and dogs look happy. My friend adopted a newly tripod chi. Little girl had been hit by a car, and they couldn't save her leg. She will need a lot of love! She will have a wonderful new home with a caring woman.
