5 minutes after leaving the airport in the rental I was on the freeway and the car came to a halt, a tone of alerts started going off & the car would not go past 20mph again I was on the Free way. Cars were swerving to avoid hitting us & honking, it was a very awful experience my kids were crying & I was terrified. I got off the freeway as soon as I could, we called alamo & they told me it looks like the car was due for maintenance. If they knew it was due for maintenance than why rent it out. It took forever to get a replacement. I have called every 4 days since August 3rd and received many reference numbers but no call back. For your safety and your families safety please rent with another company

David the manager at the phoenix airport was amazing! Helped us out when fox did us dirty. Gave us an upgrade and the price was great! They had car we needed and it was ready and cooled when we walked down! Very satisfied with rental and with customer service!

Phx are out of hand! Got Rav 4 rental for a week. Fairly new 2018 model. Was sloppily cleaned though. Dirty seats, heavy dust on dash, just not recently cleaned well inside.
Otherwise got decent gas mileage and enough power.
$93 for rental one week. With tax/ fees $221. That’s crazy! Should have picked up away from airport. To save a bit.

I drove a Mercedes, and it was clean and full of gas and the people couldn't have been nicer. Nice experience for me as at times it's not like that. Using Alamo in Arizona from now on.

Alamo saved my trip in Phoenix. I got screwed over by Fox at the airport. I had come in from out of state and was essentially stranded because of them. I went into Alamo, explained the situation and they got me in and out with a car that didn't cost an arm and a leg no problem. The employees there Aug 7 should be commended. Thank you for saving my trip. Def earned my business in the future.

We had flight delays/issues and ended up in Phoenix Sky Harbor instead of Mesa Gateway. We had a great experience with all the employees we came in contact with who were able to change our reservation and get us on the road in 10 minutes! They even gave us a better deal than online. Wonderful customer service! We also had great service when we returned the car in Mesa. Would rent with Alamo again!

Booking a car was seamless online and I loved the option to skip the counter and go straight to a car. Mr. Chuck and Ms. Vickie assisted us when we go to the rental garage, and he gave us a free upgrade. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful.
When we returned our rental, the process was very fast and easy. Chris P. from Enterprise checked us in and was very hospitable and kind. When I visit Phoenix again, I plan to rent from Alamo again. Thank you to everyone who assisted us!

The people at Phoenix Airport were AWESOME. They were all willing to help and the process of getting the car was great. The reason for 3 stars are more based on the vehicle itself. The vehicle I had was not a smooth riding vehicle, sounded rough and upon getting it out of the car rental garage, had a lot of scratches and was not very clean.
The vehicle had great feature and was pretty good on gas but the overall ride and sound was not good.

The counter help is friendly, fast and helpful. I requested a certain car and my wish was granted. I was able to upgrade and very happy with the car I received. I have used this location many times and they never disapoint.

The staff at Alamo were extremely friendly and the ease of getting my rental car was phenomenal! I have used other carriers at Phoenix Sky Harbor in the past and had horrible customer service. After my awesome experience with Alamo, I will continue using them for all my future needs when traveling!

Pretty incredible service. Was helped by Mary at the counter and she was extremely helpful. Didn’t know Alamo was so great but I will definitely be back. The pickup and drop off are so easy.
