Cashier (male)is always on phone & rude. Service is undesireable. Can't even buy Lottery tickets. Cashier is not even remotely interested in customers. A 30 second visit can result in customers being able to write a book on bad service. Owner is probably unaware unless its the owner. Previous owners were a class act.

This is one of the most friendliest places! There service is amazing and they have it all from lotto, wine, beer, vape, food and ice cream ?Place looks amazing and clean you can definitely tell is under new ownership. My new best place.

Open somewhat later than most convenience stores, very nice employees (especially the guy that's always there @ night), nice sunglasses for 1/2 the price of a drugstore/gas station, a SUPERB pick of craft IPAs for my fellow beer snobs out there, same for the hard ciders & seltzers, & some unique lighter beers as well - of course. I see new, unfamiliar 6-packs of IPAs every time I pop in... alongside the old favorites like Bell's Two-Hearted, Voodoo Ranger flavors, & more! Definitely stop in if you're in the area ; )

The Best, family owned, neighborhood convenience store! They are always so friendly, have what I need & at great prices! I just found out they now accept EBT. In these current uncertain times, I think A-1 is a wonderful service to the public, by providing low cost grocery/food items and accepting EBT benefits. As well as anything considered essential, they always have in stock. If they don't have something and you ask, they will get it in short time. That's why I love family owned small businesses. We must continue to support them!! Many thanks goes out to Marvin from A-1(owner). I am proud to be a loyal customer and only wish other convenience stores in my neighborhood were alot more like yours!
