I made my reservation 6 months in advance. My equipment was not available at my preferred pick up location and I was directed to an authorized retailer. Upon arrival and 40 minutes later the gas station attendant did not understand how to use the U-Haul software. I was directed back across to town to pick up another truck which ultimately had a bad tire and would not make my 2300 mile trip. After another 40 minutes of phone calls I was directed back to the authorized dealer to get my truck but was dispatched by a U-Haul employee over the phone. Now that my movers have been waiting 2 hours I’m finally enroute to home to load the truck. Later in the afternoon to pick up my trailer which was also reserved well in advance they dispatched me with a trailer without a wheel chock bump out for my motor cycle. I was THEN directed across town again to get the correct trailer. Charged for a second time for the trailer. The guy working said he had my preferred location refund the transaction from them but could not print me a receipt. Upon stopping by my preferred location to obtain my refund receipt they HAD NOT REFUNDED IT! I had to wait yet again for them to process the refund on the original trailer dispatch. All in all I lost 4 hours of my life dealing with a company I have made reservations well in advance and paid $5000! I will never do business with U-Haul again. EVER!

If I could I would give ZERO STARS. The cab of the 15’ truck I rented was filthy with what appeared to be soda spilled in both cup holders, on the floor, and, of all places on the steering wheel. One of the cables for the rear door broke the 2nd time I closed the door. The truck was also in poor repair mechanically, including a transmission that dragged and didn’t downshift properly when braking.After all this, when I went to return the truck at 6:30p (30 minutes before the location closed) I waited for at least 10-15 minutes while the woman at the counter took what should have been less than 2-3 minutes to finish with another customer because she was too busy taking about their shared “complaints” about having small children - it stuck me that they knew each other.When she finally finished and asked how she could help, when I told her I was dropping of a truck and need it checked in, she just told me “her guy outside is checking in trucks” and sent me out. “Her guy,” when I went out and told him what the woman inside said, he just told me to put the keys in the drop box. When I told him it needed to be checked in (mileage, fuel, etc.) he just repeated “put the keys in the drop box.” I was then left to work through the horribly slow checkin through the App. And the two employees had the lights out and the doors locked before I was done competing the checkin on the App.This was without a doubt the WORST experience I have ever had renting a moving truck whether with U-Haul or any other company. I paid nearly $200 for a 3-day rental and mileage for a disgusting dirty truck with a broken rear door and then the staff at the location when I returned the truck reached an all new low in the level of customer service. There is very little chance I will ever recommend U-Haul in the future and ABSOLUTELY NO WAY I will ever recommend the location at 87th Ave & Bell Road in Peoria, Arizona.A very disappointed customer.

I had to upgrade to a bigger truck when I realized the one I reserved was too small and they were so quick to help me do that! Took 10 min! Love this location!

Rented a truck from here and the driver side mirror was broken. Mentioned it to the guy working the desk and he just shrugged and said he would mention it to someone. Completely blew off the fact they just loaned out an unsafe vehicle for use! I would recommend the uhaul off 67th, they actually care about people. Never coming here again!

I wish I could leave 5 stars, but this uhaul location was terrible! The staff was too busy looking at their phones to help a paying customer. When I finally got them outside to help me connect the trailer I rented with my truck, they boxed me in with an another uhaul truck for 25 minutes. Finally when I got to my destination. The trailer I rented was full of popcorn and garbage. Shame on this uhaul location. Help your customers and take care of your equipment!

When renting a car dolly this was the location I selected online to return it. Upon showing up the guy said I need to take it to another location. I came back in and showed him this is where I selected to return it and the online system didn’t show me any issues. He was very dismissive and said well I need to take it elsewhere. I was on a tight timeline and it’s not my job to worry about logistics for uhaul.Uhaul as a whole-when renting a dolly a second time, among other issues with the company, they wanted what seemed like an excessive amount. After looking online I was able to buy a car dolly, of equivalent quality, for less that they wanted to rent theirs. I recommend exploring all other options before using this company.

Lock my garage door scanner in the truck. They would not open unless I pay 200 extra bucks I was locked out my house because of this they didn’t care. and was over charged for gas. Worst experience with this company. I wish I could get a refund

I’m the only person waiting for propane every time I go there and I typically wait 15-20 minutes. Customer service is awful!

Their truck leaked water and destroyed $3000 in textbooks. Made a claim as I was told and they paid out $149 due to "depreiciation". I will spend more next move just so I don't have to use uhaul ever again
