Beware if you are shopping online for a pickup order. Im not sure if it is just this safeway or all of them, but they are charging more for items ordered for pickup than in the store. I ordered a pack of liquid death yesterday and the app charged me $14.49 (on sale) and when I went in the store the very same day (a few hours later) the same exact one I ordered was labeled $13.99 on the shelf. These crooks will never get another dime from me. They are out for your whole wallet now.

Safeway has gone downhill in the recent past. When I order on the app and they're out of an item I ordered, recently they've replaced that item with an item that is twice the price. The people who pick your order are typically very young people who don't cook or shop in a supermarket for food--thus they don't know how to choose the freshest produce or meat selections, as well as canned goods. This is frustrating, since I have to get back in the car and shop again--usually finding the items they said were out of stock. Other than that, the store is clean, but has limited selections on less popular items.

Not great experience at Safeway. I have clicked sales items at my Safeway account. After checking out, none were applied. I have to go to customer services to get refund. The young cashier asked my phone number, he must enter it wrong. It is better you enter your own number or swap your card. Now days the stores do not even apologize for their mistakes. When this Safeway opened 16 years ago in the neighborhood, they refunded the whole amount for the item charged wrong. What happened to America?

I stopped here to pick up a few things I was low on. Typically I do not shop here and this is why. I just purchased an entire bag of mini cucumbers that looked fine in the store but upon opening them I home I noticed all of them are slimy and mouldy. This is the 2nd time I have stopped here in a pinch and gotten bad produce. I will not go back to this store.

This location provided such a lovely memorable experience.
My relatives and I visited a competing grocery store and were promised fresh items from the Hot Food Case; however upon getting home we noticed that the items were dry and had expired in texture ? so I contacted Safeway (located at 28455 N Vistancia Blvd-Peoria, AZ 85383) and spoke to the Store manager "Isaac".
He was so kind/understanding to our situation while accommodating in such a magnificent way! Isaac even assured that our food would be fresh and ready for pickup asap!
When I arrived at the deli section to retrieve our food order, a very kind young man named "Taylor" had our items freshly packed and ready to go! Taylor had a warm presence, genuine smile, and was so pleasant interacting with.
Truly enjoyed my first experience at this Safeway location; and I will definitely be back due to the wonderful customer service provided by both Isaac and Taylor. Thank you again!

Don't go to this location after 4PM because that is when all the grumpy employees are there. They were not very helpful and really did not want to be at work.

Had Starbucks and the man that was working did NOT have any personality. Did not say good morning and did NOT say thank you. The drinks were good. I'm not happy about customer service. He would not work for me. I think that his name is Andrew.

They offer me a senior discount every first Wednesday of the month. I think that's a nice gesture. I go there every week on Wednesday and most of the time find what I need.

Nice that they bag the groceries but I’d prefer not to have the soft stuff on the bottom under the canned goods. Kinda makes me angry and disappointed in the quality of the employees.

It was 6:58 on 3/7/24 and I approached the check out register to leave and found not a single register open to check out. Two cashiers standing in their lanes but lights out and bread cart blocking their aisles. Only option was self checkout and all 6 were occupied and I was 8th person in line with people behind me and more approaching. Management got this one wrong, poor customer service for a store that I frequent this experience was less than acceptable.

Fry’s has the pick up grocery process going on so much more than Safeway. I have complained with no changes. Fry’s replaces out of stock items with some equivalent or better. Safeway can’t even match an item. For instance…I needed top round to make jerky and they replaced it with round steak. On top of that some of the older cashiers are not friendly at all. The young kids do such a better job with customer service. Can’t wait until fry’s opens.

Mindy is an exceptional representative for your store. She is in the Pharmacy, so not everyone gets to understand. Always smiling, helpful, accommodating and personable. Rare in today's world.
