This has been my local grocery store for over a decade. All stores can be competitive with prices but few can compete with good service. From the butchers to the deli to the bakery, the service in this store is exceptional and I will not change grocers over a few dollars. They know me and I know them and they will get you anything you need. The butchers are my favorite. From custom cuts to special orders, they will get you anything you need.

Be careful with this stores delivery. I received someone elses order. Which included their receipt with billing address and the last 4 of their credit card.
We have had numerous issues with the delivery itself along with the items chosen for groceries picked.

I just love how my total was $16.01. I inserted $20.01 into the self checkout machine, only for your stupid machine to forget to do basic math. Stupid thing spit out $3.99. Safeway, fix this problem.

Went to get Chicken strips and fried chicken for our guests. It was awful. It was over done and very dry!!! Our guests had to chisel the coating off to get to the chicken. Not happy!!! I shop here often but maybe not anymore. I apologized several times to our guests... for 32.90 It was definitely not worth it.

I had the worst experience with one guy today. He was a bald white guy named Chris M. He worked at the meat section. I was polite when asking his if he could cut a meat vertically and he's says I can but are you sure you're gonna buy it. I ask him to double check the meat if this is the correct meat on the paper ad. He says no and that another batch will be available in 1hr or so. I said okay thank you. My mother who isn't a English native speaker proceed to take the meat because she previously bought the same meat before the other say with our sister in law and the coupon deal worked. Thinking this "Chris" guy probably don't know since it worked previously before. This "Chris" guy then proceeds to complain to his female coworker that they don't listen right that they're gonna just bring it to the front and that it isn't going to be the correct one and that I'm gonna be the one who has to put it back. He said it so rudely and loud thinking no one heard him except his coworker, but I did. I gave him a piece of my mind for talking so condescending and rudely. And that if he had a problem he should of privately complained to himself QUIETLY. I get that you can complain because people mistake items all the time, which of course you work at a grocery store. People are going to return incorrect items all the time. But it's NOT YOUR JOB to complain and be rude to random people asking a simple question. Plus my mom doesn't speak English well, so do NOT mock her with your tone. I talked to the manager but it was the typical oh he's never talked like this before, no lady it's because he NEVER got caught or no customer would speak out about it. I'm not the type to speak up ever, but for him to rudely treat older people like this with simple questions is unpalatable.

My fiance bought me roses for my birthday and immediately the peddles fell off and 1 of the roses was even cut. Horrible. Check out was quick, but the staff are not friendly here.

Better than most. Still lacking sale items! Had not been in a while, but was disappointed yet again. With Frys buying out Albertsons, I really don’t expect to see any type of improvement as Frys is even worse. Arizona needs a new grocery chain that isn’t ultra cheap or expensive; just a store that doesn’t false advertise and keeps their shelves stocked on a regular basis.

As I walked through the long aisles because only one actual person was cashing out at a register customers this store expects you to use self-pay. Anyways, when is my item must have not saved when I did my online checking of the click coupons when I went to cash out out of the 10 things I ordered only one thing was not saved as the young woman, Brianna wanted to argue with me and tell me that she was going out of her way and how she should not be giving me that price I told her that she was incorrect and that her customer skills were very poor in addition to living in a senior citizen, community half of the people here do not have smart phones And they go ahead and as a courtesy give them that click it sale price but instead this cashier decided to snicker and last back-and-forth and roll her eyes with the bag girl then she proceeds to go ahead and have somebody call and check and make sure that my creamer is actually really on sale when I let her know where it was located on the bottom row of the creamers and half-and-half, the first one on the left She looked puzzled and surprised. Did she expect that I was lying? Did she expect that I was trying to get over her on her? I don't know if that's how she made me feel then when I called over the manager she went ahead and said OK, but was hesitant as if he was taking their side. I wish they would've taken the time out to go see that the snickers half-and-half is really a variety creamer on sale for 299. This store leaves the customer to feel unhappy, not comfortable about coming here knowing ahead of time that they don't want to put cashiers online and prefer people use self check out parking is always a hassle even though the large parking lot is wide open, but it is shared with several other businesses this would not be my first preference to Place to come and do my business I think going forward After I email my experience to corporate I will go out of my way just to make it to my nearest Trader Joe's. We're at least I know I will have better variety more cashiers no self check out and nice people I mean come on no one likes to go grocery shopping at least be nice even if you don't like your job smile anyways and be pleasant please.
