You just cannot make people wait 30-45 minutes in line to pick up medicine. This has to be fixed. I would advise anyone thinking of using this pharmacy to find an alternate. I am for sure. Painful.

They always text me to remind me to pick up my meds and notify me when my refill is ready.

Always a line cause unfortunately not enough staff. Each pick up is a 20 min wait at least anytime of day. Don’t try to call in either, the staff has no issue being rude and leaving you on hold for 20 mins just to confirm a prescription.

Didn't care for my experience with Walgreens so I decided to try safeway pharmacy and have not been impressed. One was when I was sick and the pharmacist didn't bother to mention or question why I was prescribed pediatric medication? Found that out after the fact. They never call or text to let you know your prescription is ready. Never answer or return phone calls to ask if they received the script. Then they wait until you go to pick it up, to tell you there was an issue with filling the prescription. Why not call first? Versus waiting for me to go pick it up assuming it's good for pick up? Just major lack of communication. This is why I prefer mail order prescriptions. But it's not always an option when you need the meds asap.

The pharmacist was very kind and compassionate. They didn't have the medication that my husband needed so she called several different pharmacies close by to see if they had it in stock.

They are fast, friendly and always check GoodRx and insurance for best pricing. Transferred my prescriptions from Walgreens to Safeway a few years ago and never looked back. Also get all my vaccines here as well. Never had a bad experience with them. Yep, they do get backed up once in awhile, but do their best to take care of everyone as quickly as possible.

Had bloodwork done this afternoon. Phlebotomist came in after I was waiting about 10 minutes, maybe she was on lunch or something. Wish she would have washed her hands before taking my blood. She did put gloves on but once they are removed, she is touching all kinds of things that should be sterile. Plus, they didn't have any butterfly needles so she had to poke me in two different arms to get blood. Not happy with my experience here at all!

Living in Vistancia, this is the closest store to us. Usually the store is pretty on top of things but this is now the third or fourth thing.. I'm frustrated. I've tried to not get too upset bc things happen.. but I think it's the fact that they don't even TRY to rectify things. I've managed several hospitality fields and everyone knows you FIX THE PROBLEM. * Special ordered a white birthday cake with white non Dairy whipped. I was asked did I want flowers on top... sure! The cake was for a birthday party. My party. I picked it up at the scheduled time and it was a white cake with CHOCOLATE non dairy frosting with BUTTER CREAM roses and boarder all over the cake. Absolutely none of this combination makes sense, nor is it what I ordered. The guy in the bakery didn't know what kind of frosting was on my cake.. that I needed to look at the paper. I left. Called a manager when I got home and was met with "ive been here for x years and I've never had a cake complaint". Yeah.. I eventually got an apology, but zero offers to correct this. 3/4 of the $40 cake got tossed bc it couldn't be eaten. And the BEAUTIFUL $50 rose bouquet my husband got me had to be tossed TWO days later, as it was dead! This past weekend we did a quick stop around 8pm to get some ice cream. I wanted a specific item from the deli.. but the young lady, very politely, told me I couldn't get anything from the deli case bc it was closed and she needed to clean bc they are understaffed. Ok. Yesterday.. I went to the Butcher Block and was nicely greeted by the young man behind the counter. I asked him if the chicken fajita meat in the case was all he had.. as I saw about a pound and needed more around 5lbs. He said "Yeah, for now... I'd have to make more". So I got a pack of ground beef. As I grabbed that.. he walked to the consumer side of the counter and joined another butcher and what looked like a patron. They stood awhile laughing and talking about things from 7th grade? Seemed like buddies. Ok.. I get it, have fun at work... but....? Today.. (yes, we go to Safeway nearly everyday. Every Birthday..) did another quick $200 shop. Swung by the deli, it's 5pm so I should Be good. Got an $8 large container of the Basil Pesto Bow tie pasta. Got home, my husband and daughter both started in on the pasta and both literally started gagging and acting crazy.. saying it was "Off and tastes like Stale pasta and FISH!" ... it was spoiled. Straight in the trash. Not even going to waste my time and gas to deal with this right now, it's dinner time for my family. WHAT IS GOING ON?! We pay more at Safeway, for convenience. Maybe the quality should step up. This is ridiculous

Liquor dept manager Roman is a breath of fresh air for this store. Every time I go there I learn something new and interesting about wine and beer. I can tell he has a real passion for his craft and I truly appreciate our short chats when he shares nuggets of his vast knowledge with me. If he is in the store he is on the floor busy, facing, taking inventory, and approaching customers who may need help or appreciate recommendations. Thank you Roman

Worst Safeway I've Stepped My Foot In! Unfortunately, it's the only grocery store in Vistancia. Management just keeps taking complaints, but not making corrections. It's the same reoccurring issues. Corporate needs to step in and evaluate this store! It sucks!!!!!

Safeway needs to train their Managers in Customer service. Check your receipts your PIN doesn't always go through and your charged regular price for everything you purchase. Trying to get this issue corrected is like pulling teeth

Our Safeway is great. The butcher is awesome and fresh. They go above and beyond to make you happy. Myles was an awesome at bagging my groceries. I loved how I went home and my bags were organized by frozen, meat and etc... Christina in the bakery was very helpful and made sure everything was fresh. I love my Safeway. Thank you to everyone.
