Sold us a used, returned Christmas tree with a shipping label on it for someone else, as new. We purchased it and went to put it together on Christmas Eve and the lights didn’t work. We tried to return today and they will not take it back after Christmas. They sold a used tree as new and will not honor a refund!!! After 2 hours on the phone they offered a $25 gift card. For a tree that didn’t work! (Dear person that responded below, we already called and were on with them for 2 hours and were offered a $25 gift card. We want full refund or new tree)

I and my mom walked into Lowe’s and 2 gentlemen helped me find what I was looking for and literally walked with us to find it, those 2 are absolutely fantastic. However come to the check out process and the cashier (Kathi G) rang up an item and it was priced wrong. Mind you there were multiple of the same item in the bay that I grabbed from. So she walked over there with my mom and argued with her. It was in plain sight there were multiple of the same item in this price marked bay. She grabbed the remaining product from the marked bay and said “well it’s in the wrong spot”. She proceeded to call Karen at customer service (to which is NOT a manger) and gave her a half-assed story without explaining the situation and tried to act as if we found it in another area with the wrong product or price. This is very unacceptable as I have only ever shopped at Lowe’s except on a few occasions when Home Depot had exactly what I was looking for. We will not be returning to that location because of the customer service experience we had.

When searching on Google, “Where to buy Tec Accucolor Grout.” Both Home Depot and Lowe’s were listed as carrying the product, with Customer REVIEWS! Neither store stocks Tec Accucolor Grout, nor have they ever carried it in their stores!
This was a huge waste of time at 8:00 PM!
We had ran out and needed more, so we could finish grouting behind a toilet to reset it before morning! Of course Amazon carries it, but we would like to support brick and mortar stores. Tomorrow we will go to a tile company and pick some up.

I usually never write bad reviews. But this experience was very frustrating. A store associate Jim was very rude and unprofessional with us. We got neasurements for blinds installation at our home. Measurement was done by a person sent by Lowe’s. Today I got an email regarding choosing the type of blinds I want for my windows. To choose the blinds I walked into the store where I saw Jim at the blinds counter. I requested him to give us options for types of blinds so we can choose from but he reacted very rudely saying “you just let me know what you want”. When I asked more he said I can go somewhere else. This was very unprofessional. If Lowe’s did not want to give me options to choose blinds then they should not wasted my time by sending a person to take measurements and then emailing me that I can select designs. Very upsetting experience.

Mostly copying this review from another angry customer because my experience was equally poor. If I could give 0 stars, I would. We have spent A TON of money at Lowe’s on home improvement projects and had an unused, unopened, and brand new $129 pressure washer and they refused to return it even just for store credit — yes, with the transaction found on my credit card. I was asked if it had been more than 90 days - I said yes. I was asked if it was opened or if anything was wrong with it - I said no. She called another employee over and said they “had” to open it for the cameras. They agreed it wasn’t previously opened and wasn’t used. Then she called a manager since it was over 90 days and said they wouldn’t allow the return because it was “equipment”. I have spend hundreds of thousands of dollars in home improvement stores over the last 25+ years. Will make sure to take ALL future business to Home Depot.

Gail in appliances made this outing the "Best it could be". We came in "dreading"appliance shopping. Gail came over and offered her assistance. She was amazing. We left within an hour with a kitchen full of appliances (gas stove/oven, refrigerator, above range microwave). The next day everything was installed and ready to go! Thanks Gail for wonderful, knowledgeable, professional assistance. Great Day!

Started at home depot wandering around for an hour looking for one item. Couldn't find anyone to ask for help except for two employees who sent me on wild goose chaces. So I left, went to Lowes and the very first employee I see as I walk thru the door, doesn't wait for me to ask first, asks me if I need help then walks me all the way to the exact item I was looking for. In and out in 5 min. I've been a loyal depot customer for 25 yrs. I even worked there for a few yrs but I'm done. Ill spend my $70,000+ a yr at Lowe's from now on.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Refused and were awful and rude. Will make sure to take ALL future business to Home Depot.
