1 Star for the Customers who are leaving the towels all over the places (SPA/Sauna/etc.). There’s a return place where you can return the towels.About the location 4 stars. It’s awesome! Maybe the only thing that is missing would be a wifi extension around SAUNA/SPA location.

Very nice gym BUT families need to make use of the family locker rooms and employees keep mentioning that they’re informing people about it, but seems like people don’t listen. Also i was with a small group and we all finished a workout and needed water, went to the cafe, and they said they don’t give free water. Um, illegal, this is Arizona and just paying for this gym should most definitely cover the expense of at least free water!?

Front desk people need to be more helpful. Families don’t use family locker rooms at all, it’s way too packed in the women’s area. Also naked women walking around all exposed…and kids are exposed to that (also shouldn’t be any kids). They don’t give water, even if you’re red and suffering from thirst.Corporate needs to manage their system better for an improved positive experience.Nice gym but please make our experience better at Lifetime Fitness.

This gym has been my go to for years now, and I do like it better than other gyms. It would be better if families would use the family locker rooms. It gets way too crowded and kids are kids so little do they know that they’re invading your privacy by looking in your stalls while attempting to get dressed. Not to mention naked individuals revealing themselves and not caring to at least get dressed (literally they’ll even go in the spas fully undressed). The maintenance is usually clean and nice ??. The cafe prices are expensive, it would be nice to earn points on the app for every purchase or have deals- which would encourage customers to be involved with the system (why Starbucks is successful). I would definitely buy more from the cafe!I know lots who would love for a Lifetime Fitness in Verrado way or buckeye Az!!! ?

The gym is fine, newer which is nice too. I’ve moved around a lot in the last 5 years, I was previously a member at the Biltmore location, before that the Tempe and before that the Chandler one. Here you’d get about the same experience as the other locations except their men’s locker room is on of the smelliest unclean locker rooms I’ve ever seen. The cold plunge has a greasy film over the top. The showers are always grimy and the entire room smells like sewage. As a member you pay a premium to be at a nice gym but you miss out on a core perk of an all inclusive membership because their locker rooms are disgusting. Disappointing considering they are still raising rates for new members.

I've been a member here for a little over two years and about every six months my dues go up without notice. The manager Jennifer V doesn't return calls or answer emails or seem to care about her members. The men's locker room is continually filthy with a bank of lockers that have been out of service for over a year, cracked sinks, dirty mirrors, hair on couter tops, mildew in the showers and a wet sauna that is a petri dish of slime and full of wet towels. In the weight room there is zero gym etiquette (members leave the weights on the equipment), try to save equipment by putting their h2O bottles on the seats of the next machine they intend to use, or, just sit on the benches using their phones doing nothing, with no reprocussion or enforcement of policy except the fact that they don't let you use a gym bag anymore. The 'trainers' use all the squat racks for their silly classes all day long, which they mercilessly push on you for upcharges, and there is zero chance of supersetting anymore due to overcrowding. Their only saving grace is the front desk staff is nice in the evening hours. This place used to be the best gym in my neighborhood but now it's not much better than the $15/mo gym down the street which btw, I also belong to and go when Lifetime is too busy to get a good workout in. Maybe a new manager is in order? Here is a copy of a typical email I get every 6 months or so. I never ever see any of these "improvements"."We are grateful for the opportunity to serve you these last two years and truly appreciate your loyalty to Life Time.Over the past few years we have been completely focused on elevating all areas of our operations to deliver an Athletic Country Club experience for our members. We continue to invest in our teams to retain our best performers and attract more talent. We have re-positioned our clubs with refreshed spaces and enhanced programming, charging higher rates for new members as we strive to manage club capacity to maintain a premium experience. At the same time, we are demonstrating our appreciation for your loyalty by keeping your monthly dues below the rate for new members joining now. Effective October 1, 2023, your monthly dues will be adjusted from $Xxx to $xxx (plus tax and Junior membership dues if applicable), which is $XX below the rate for new members. Please know we remain committed to providing you the best places, programs, and performers to help you enjoy a healthy, happy life, and let me know if there is anything we can do to improve your experience with us.With appreciation,Jennifer Veres | Senior Lead General

I am pretty sure these guys do not ever look at their phone nor even return your messages. Cool franchise if they could ever get a decent management system. The life guards care very well which is awesome to take the little ones out to the pool! Very good amenities with a poor work ethic. Personal trainers are awesome, other than that you should probably just do it yourself as it’s easier then waiting for staff to help you. OH and the front desk ignores your calls and chats with all their friends instead of paying attention to their work space. Just a mansion ran by kids who are all in their own kingdom. Anyways I’m sure I’ll keep overpaying for this place but only for the use of the facility but never to be satisfied by customer service it seems.P.s. The kids academy is awesome and the staff there does a very great job!

In reading the negative comments, a number of them were people unhappy about converting one full court basketball court into 3 pickleball courts. In my opinion, this was the most strategic move they could have made. Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the US and they recognized it. Great to see the Gym investing in their future!!!Beyond Pickleball all of the amenities, classes and staff are all world class. That and the entire facility is well kept and clean. It's' like a country club on steroids. While I know the membership is expensive, it's well worth the price.

Did not honor our founders agreement. we held up our end of the bargain and never canceled all of our memberships. Even when we did not go for six months or longer. Eventually, it would be a wash if they would have honored our agreement. The promise of not being subject to traditional increases, was not only guaranteed from multiple sales people at the club but from corporate who was there promoting weeks before the grand opening. It is unfortunate that multiple mid-level and and one corporate level director either lied or had no idea what they were selling. We should have canceled and started back up multiple times. We would be way ahead of where we ended up, the truth is they don’t care.

Every single Saturday night the locker room and shower area is absolutely unacceptable. There is a bold employee that constantly walks around and acts like he is working. It is a stark difference in how he manages versus others. He is awful, the worst of it is that there is a midget assistant manager that walks around and just flirts with the female employees up front while the GM isn’t around. How does he not manage the gym?? Keep the gym clean and presentable! He is busy walking around with a big title and gets absolutely nothing accomplished.I expect corporate looks into this! They need to work on being more friendly up front and keeping the locker room clean.

Aqua Swim class is thought out and well done. The Aurora program is varied and focused on people over 50. Ryan from swim is worth the price of admission!

Absolutely wonderful, well stocked gym, great huge pools. BUT! You will not get any pleasure if you come there with your family. Half of the zones will simply be inaccessible to you! You can't all sit in the jacuzzi together after the pool. Children are not allowed in the outdoor jacuzzi or in the jacuzzi near the pool inside. Also, children are not allowed in any of the saunas. And If your children are not good enough swimmers to swim a whole huge pool from beginning to end (pass the test), then they should not even swim in a pool of knee-deep water without the presence of an adult nearby. Not all children can swim through a huge pool, while they swim quite well in a shallow pool. You will not get any pleasure, because you will be kicked out from everywhere, because they have a million stupid rules, and every employee voices new ones all the time. Disgusting, not thought out, do not expect any comfortable rest for the whole family. I first came here 3 days ago, paying for a whole month. Today I will terminate my membership. Now I understand why there are so few people here.

I thoroughly enjoy going to Life time gym and especially Kajsa’s barre class on Mondays. She is an amazing teacher, so encouraging and understanding of those of us who have bad knees, etc. She constantly gives alternate suggestions for those who can’t do what she is demonstrating. She makes the class a lot of fun though it is very challenging (in a good way)! Her cycle class is excellent as well.

Like paying $300 for your family to absolutely micromanaged? If you have young kids or apparently any kid under 12, be prepared to be reprimanded several times for trying to use the facilities. I came as a guest today with my mother and son (3yr old) who are members to check it out since we were considering a membership. I Absolutely will not be joining after the treatment we received today. No kids allowed in the outside pool whatsoever because there is no lifeguards on duty (who are too busy folding towels and micromanaging those inside). So you pay full price to only be able to use part of the facility if you have children under 12. Why on earth can't moms with young kids be able to sit outside when it's 100 degrees? You have many members annoyed they can't be outside. Maybe delegate one of your not so busy lifeguards to the outside pools so members can use it. We were reprimanded multiple times during our 1.5 hour swim. We left early because we weren't able to actually enjoy our time. $300 is a waste of money if you have kids. They need to change their policies. Not at all family inclusive.
