Rude cashier, dark haired older lady she knows who she is. Went to Hobby Lobby where the cashiers are nice.

They had like 5 spools displayed. Mostly the rack was empty.

I have shopped at the Peoria store several times in the past few weeks. Always a pleasant experience- store is (okay stocked), the staff (I have interacted with Linda & Nathaniel) at the fabric counter are knowledgeable, friendly, efficient & careful with each cut. The store appears clean, the staff at the registers were polite & friendly.

Zero Stars - Store is filthy and customer service is unsatisfactory. Waiting in line for fabric, number dispenser jammed, then fixed while in line, and two people who were not in line, cut in front to grab the first tickets. One had 10 bolts of fabric to cut. Worker did nothing. Shop elsewhere.

Went in an there was ONE employee at the register with a long line of customers. No attempt to open another. 15 min wait to pay; two groups of people left the long line. When I finally got up to pay, no apology for the wait or even a thanks. If I ever need anything else, will try to find it from another store.

Poorly staffed! It's mid Saturday and there's only one cut counter rep with 20 people waiting. The rest of the store is quiet. Management should be on the counter or have someone come from another dept. The cut counter gal is also answering questions and helping people that approach. Poor lady probably gets overworked. I walk the store. No associates to be seen. When I try to find a manager, the not clocked in associate can't tell me who or where they even are. I wasted so much time and had to leave because of somewhere else I needed to be.

I came to buy fabric and I usually order 2 or 3 pieces of 3 yards because that is what I require for the backdrops that I use for my business. I have shopped here for at least the last 3 years and I have never had such a bad experience as today. I ordered 2 pieces of 3 yards each and the person who "attended me" (that's a saying because she is more than rude, she didn't even respond to the greeting) refused, saying that it was company policy that they could only make a cut per client, because I would have to cut fabric. I asked to speak to the manager, who was just as passive aggressive and reiterated that she couldn't sell me more than a cut of fabric and that even if I trained again she was NOT going to sell me. I asked him to show me where such a policy was displayed and he told me that I was not an employee because I didn't have to. I reiterate that I have come before and I have NEVER had that problem, I still don't buy large lots, I only wanted 2 pieces of 3 yards each, like I have bought before. This type of attention is why this store has declared bankruptcy.

Not that I am at all interested in crafty things and trinkets and such to do them with. But my wife enjoys hanging out in the yarn department. Whatever she loves, I love! She did choose me .. =) I would have given it 5 stars, but I am a man, and this is not a sporting goods store! Lol

The helper at the sewing counter said she was going to throat punch the next person who giggles. This is after I had just giggled at something someone else had said. This is unacceptable and I can't believe she thought it was an ok thi

Put products back. Line completely out the door and one person on checkout. That is pretty much standard for this store.

Bought a singer Brilliance from them on March 1,2024. Same machine that I have owed for years. There is a problem with the machine. After i take my foot off oedeal its still going. Joanns will charge me a $25 restocking fee. Even though it a manufacturer defected. Called corporate they say contact the manufacturer. Don't buy machines from Joanns. you can't return with out penalties and they don't tell you before you pay its on the recipe after.
