“This store never disappoints, no matter the state. Always varieties of produce and meat plus regional favorites and staples. Even with increasing prices I think the shelf brands they use are as good as name brands. With the benefit of a cheaper price. I have been to an Aldi in: NY, VA, NC, AR, AZ
All are same setup in general, but some items do not make it from state to state.”

“McClendon’s Select is by far one of my favorite places to shop. I first found them a few years ago at the Uptown Farmers Market and now they’re part of my weekly ritual. Their fruits and vegetables are incredibly fresh, all organic, and just bursting with flavor.
Honestly, nothing compares. Even their herbs are stunning—like, I walk away with handfuls of basil, mint, and parsley that actually last and smell amazing.
But here’s the kicker: it’s not expensive! I routinely spend less than I would at a grocery store, and the quality isn’t even in the same league. The folks working the market are always so friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. You can tell they care about the food and the people they serve.
Once you try McClendon’s, you’ll get it. Just bring a big tote and a little restraint—I usually forget the second part.”

“This nook is OFF THE HOOK. grab yourself a treat and a coffee. Buy some gifts for friends. Check out grunting pigs, crowing roosters. They actually grow fresh vegetables here. I like the free library and food for the needy on the red shelf outside the gate. This place is unique! Make sure you know their hours and check it out!!!!”
