First of all everything you remember about the old design me salon FORGET! This is now under proper ownership Tracy, who is absolutely amazing inside and out and she actually cares about the clients and her staff. All of the stylists there are friendly and professional and they have respect for Tracy that you can only get under a great leader. They ALL listen to you and give you exactly what you want in your hair style. The new product line she has brought in is AMAZING as well. It is actually good for your hair. It’s vegan free, dye free, sulfate and paraben free and made with Aloe to naturally nourish hair. I highly recommend this line. I have post partum hair problems and my hair looks PHENOMENAL! The entire staff is respectful and a joy to be around. It is a great feeling when the front desk greats you properly and then offers a beverage for you. New ownership is exactly what this beautiful salon needed. I am excited to see what she does. Go get a HIGH quality style done at the NEW and improved Deign me Salon that will NOT break your piggy bank. Client and friend for life!

Kylee did an amazing job on my hair today! Even though she doesn’t specialize in men’s cuts, I left that salon feeling like a new man. Hair looking just as good if not better then any barber I’ve been to. Keep up the good work Kylee!

I got a full head of highlights from Jackie and absolutely LOVE how it looks. She did an amazing job and was great company to chat with. The salon was clean and nicely decorated. The staff was polite and scheduling was easy. I definitely recommend this salon and will be going back.

I'm beyond disappointed. I asked for a balayage and root covering. I saw Jackie had good reviews on yelp app and went with her. When she washed my hair after "the balayage and root covering "and attempted to style it I saw a terrible job on my hair. I had to stop the service, to ask her politely why my hair didn't match my request, she darkened my hair instead of the balayage I asked. She NEVER apologized. She said she has done hair for 13 years INSTEAD. I asked her what about the grays? What about my dark non blonde balayage? What happened to my extensions that now you made darker instead of blonde ? She just stared at me stoically. I didn't feel understood nor heard. She even said to the receptionist: " it's ok I don't care if she doesn't want to pay " and left to the back room instead of showing concern and personal interest. Very rude of her. Worst experience ever. Will never go back to this salon. The receptionist was actually understanding, not the case with Jackie. Jackie was very unconcerned. Never had this experience before. Jackie has no clue of how to blow dry hair extensions either. She actually knocked out 2 beads from my hair extensions when attempting to blow dry them trying to COMB my hair with a round brush to blow dry it ! (never even put heat protectant before !) Needless to say I went home crying and with wet dripping hair. Still waiting for the manager to call me.

I came to get my hair color done here for my wedding day, and the service was not at all what I asked for or expected. The stylist was incredibly rushed and did not take the time to get the color right to match my hair extensions. I voiced my concern before leaving the salon, and nothing was done to fix it. To make things worse, I've tried calling the owner three times now to ask for compensation due to the fact I had to pay to go get it redone by someone else two days before my wedding. He will not return my phone call and I have yet to hear back from anyone at the salon. I've been coming to design me for over a year, this time they lost a customer for life. Truly bummed by the whole situation.

Love this salon! So cute and clean. Kylee did my hair and I absolutely love it! She did a balayage on me with a haircut and style! She is amazing with color! Highly recommend her! People are constantly asking me who colors my hair?

Save yourself money and time please. I wish I would have further investigated before dishing out $260 for a messed up balayage and extremely rude staff and manager. The manager himself doesn’t even do hair so doesn’t even know what he’s talking about to his own employees. He definitely isn’t happy at this place and it shows. Ally did whatever she did to my hair. She is a new stylist and it shows. She left lot of harshness in my hair and didn’t even apologize for her mistake. She offered to blend it but due to her lack of empathy I don’t want her anywhere near my hair. DONT GO HERE.
