Denied for a simple checking account. Opened one at Wells Fargo after no issues.

The office is too busy to help existing clients, they only want new clients. If you have an account with this company and die, please be aware this company is doing what they can to delay transferring the funds to them. And the amount of paperwork they require - for each account - is ridiculous compared to some other investment companies.

Was a Fidelity client, but was treated badly, which brought me to Schwab. They listened, were friendly and willing to work with me. Very professional and highly recommended!!

The office is immaculate. Not only that, but the service is out of this world! The BEST and most professional financial consultants I've met. I don't normally recommend investing firms but, when I do, it's THIS Charles Schwab. I went in and talked to a gentleman named Jonah and he set me up with what I needed. No pressure. No hassle. In an age when employees are set to ask more and more out of their clients, this was a refreshing experience. i felt like Jonah was personally tailoring to my needs and wants. He explained how my previous account with a different firm was actually not in my best interest, in layman's terms. A great experience, would do again. 10/10 much wow! Stop wasting your time and money with other consultants. What are you waiting for?

When I relocated to AZ five years ago, I continued with Schwab (after doing business with the firm in California since 1985), even though the closest office to me is this one in Peoria, nearly a 30-minute drive from where I live in the Sun Cities area. I usually transact business online, but recently, I had to visit the office in order to transfer a retirement account from my old employer. Joe Woods took care of the transaction quickly and efficiently, and because it was a large amount, he mentioned that I would be eligible for FREE trades for up to 2 years. Again, no muss, no fuss--and I soon received an email confirmation that the offer was in place on my account. I've always been pleased with Schwab's service and would give the company a full 5 stars, except for the fact that this is the only office on the west side of Phoenix, and that there are no others between my home and Southern California--in spite of the fact that the Sun Cities area is home to hundreds of thousands of boomer retirees.

Do not recommend. I reached out to Schwab and provided basic personal information at their request. I was then called by a rep, Al Smith, and we discussed the same info and set an appointment to review what Schwab might do for me. Arrived at the appointment and any conversation that Al and I had was forgotten and no pre-work was done. Never the less I spent 90 minutes reviewing and providing more in-depth personal wealth information and we agreed to reconvene when Al would have a plan to present. 2 weeks now and no Al. Reached out via email a couple of times with no response. I am a very self aware type person and always courteous and fair so I don't believe I scarred him off but to not even be able to raise a response is disappointing. Is turning out to be the typical, don't give a crap financial institution that I would not trust to have my best interest at heart.
