(November 2023) Subpar experience with an employee named Josh at the BevMo store at 24650 N. Lake Pleasant Parkway, but together we salvaged the business relationship, and I will return as a customer. So, what happened? I was purchasing non-alcoholic beer. Elisa, a cashier, politely asked if my address was with the store. I said no, I wish to protect my privacy. Then Elisa asked for my ID, presumably for my address. I said I’m buying non-alcoholic beverages, so I don’t need to show my ID. Josh, who was watching Elisa, said I had to show her my ID. I said if I’m forced to show my ID for a non-alcohol purchase, your store just lost a customer, and I will never come back. Upon hearing this, Josh said GOOD RIDDANCE. I was absolutely stunned. And then he said another personal insult that I forgot because I was still in shock from the first one. Soon after, however, Josh and I clarified that my presumption was wrong, e.g. my date of birth was the only item needed from my ID (company policy), so I showed it to enable the purchase.

Went in for a little local whiskey or bourbon. The folks greeted me and helped me find a nice Bourbon called Grand Canyon. I want to give it to a friend as a local spirit. The price was great and I am thoroughly happy with the service and selection.

It's BevMo... what else can you say. You want it they have it. I was surprised to see groceries there....prices a bit hight for them but in a pinch I know where to go.

We enjoy the helpful, friendly employees at this location. This is where we come for pre mixed Expresso Martini and also the supplies to make our own. Clean, organized, and well stocked store. I recommend this BevMo to you. We will be back for more.
