I asked the smith how he would fix the issue I was having. He said he would have to take a look at it. I explained in detail what the issue was. Then I asked, how he would fix it. He again stated he would need to look at it. My front sight on my m48(similar to kar98) is staked in place so you need to use a dremel or something to unstake the medal. I need a gunsmith that is confident in fixing this issue as well as able to explain how he would fix the issue before I will trust giving him a post ww2 relic (1950s bolt action). This gun smith was incapable of doing either.

Great guy, and tells you straight what he thinks. Red tagged my AR15 when I brought it to him for safety reasons, because HE wouldn't trust it. Will be the ONLY gunsmith I will ever go to.
