I did a change of address. First I went to post office to get a form. You have to stand in a long line to get the form. So they push you to do it online. So I attempted to do it online. They say you must use a credit card to verify that it is me. I did as directed and they took $1.10 out of my bank for verification. I then received a email stating I must come in person to verify who I am. That's what the charge on my card is for. So I went inside the post office and they want a lease agreement to prove I'm not moving grandpa's mail. That is a bogus excuse. I put in for my own mail only. So I am not getting a change of address even after they charged me for verification. Simply put that is fraudulent. So I will be directing the people who live there to write return to sender on any and all mail going there. So now the post office can move each piece of mail 2 times. WOW that's the government at work. How much money will be waisted sending my mail back. That's moving my mail 2 times for the price of 1 stamp. STUPID! I will also be going to my bank and reporting fraudulent charges to my account, because I was charged for a verification service that I didn't receive. THIS is your united states postal service at work wasting money. How many pieces of mail will be returned for no charge? Hardly worth the $1.10 they scamed me out of. The biggest thing is they don't care.

The mail carriers arent good. If you put letters in your own mailbox to mail out, they wont take them, they will just put new mail on top of the letter you want to mail everyday. How nice. Also if you have anything that requires a signature, no way are they getting out of their jeep to go to your door to have you sign, instead you will always get the form claiming you were gone and that you need to come to the post office to get your mail, essentially doing their job for them since they refused to attempt to go to your door to get a signature for your sig required item. Except I'm retired and dont work so I am always home the entire day when I get the form that claims I wasnt home to sign for the item.

I've been traveling the country in my RV for 5 years now and this has been one of the best post offices for general delivery!

I've been in town since Dec 2nd, 2023. Since then I've had at most three pieces of mail delivered to my apartment address. Amazon packages sent back to sender and misplaced in hopefully someone else's mailbox, insurance paperwork missing, and god knows what else. This will be twice now I have to waste time to go to the postal building and talk to someone, this is ridiculous and I fear I will have to open a pricey PO box if USPS continues to screw up. Oh and my roommate has ZERO issue getting his mail yet we use the SAME BOX.

They are never adequately staffed. 3 counters and there’s only one person working a line of 8+ people. That one person has no sense of urgency and is dawdling through each transaction as if unaware that there are multiple people waiting in the store. It’s one thing to wait knowing staff is doing everything they can to get to everyone quickly but waiting when staff clearly does not care and lets it be known they do not through their actions? Pretty much infuriating when you’re left there to watch it all unfold for half an hour.

Just pay the extra money and use another mail carrier. Nothing gets delivered on time in payson and theres obviously no incentive to for the employees to perform. Very frustrating, 40 min holds. Package being out on delivery for days.....i can order a package from across the country and it gets to Payson in 2-3 days...then its not uncommon for mail to sit at the post office for days waiting to be delivered. The last 12 miles of my package's trip often takes over 3 days to deliver in payson.

Wow, just dropped off some packages as usual from my business and just plain nasty all the way around. The rolled eyes, loud sigh and yelled just push them through. If I would have just pushed through, I would have knocked her over. Moved from Phoenix to get away from that. Ha

My postal carrier seems to think it's ok to fold a residents package in half and clearly cram it in my postal box instead of putting it in a larger locked box. While folding it in half she could tell she was bending a metal sign and yet she had no regard for the contents. Thanks alot mail Carrier, you bent a gift in half.

Usually only one person working the counter and it's usually the older bossy lady who gets really upset if you stop her from telling every possible way to ship, especially when I know what way you want to ship it, I don't need for her to waste her breath or get angry about everything. Getting one of those automated kiosks at this location would do absolute wonders! There is no excuse not to have one.

Don't try and call them ever. Repeated calls just ring and ring and finally someone hangs up. Or if you really want some fun you can call the 800 number that takes you down multiple different rabbit trails to no where.

Absolutely the worst experience in getting mail & packages delivered! Twice I've waited for packages to be delivered, and never showed up! The first even though the USPS website showed to be delivered at home we called & they said come pick it upThis time after a 2+ week hold, website again listed they will deliver accumulated packages & mail & nothing! I called, but on Saturday they close at 12pm, seriously?? Work only half a day & it's Memorial weekend so I won't see mail til Tuesday where once again I will have to pickup!Time to PRIVATISE them along with a lot of other bloated bureaucracies. Rudest USPS office I've ever been to. They were not helpful and have very unwelcoming loud voices. They are more annoyed if customers than anything.

This location is the worst. They do not answer calls. I had medical package that to be delivered. The carrier says the boxes were full. s has happened more then once.
