But in her absence on vacation this week, I had the good fortune of working with Gisa - and shopping by phone!!I live in Washington DC and my mom and stepfather live in Patagonia. Today my mom turned 80 years old! I spoke to Gisa by phone and she sent me photos of several ideas for gifts. In the end she helped me pick a beautiful Mata Ortiz vase. She went over and above for me today. She even is going to drop this birthday gift at my mom's home on her way after work!!! Who does that??
