Everyone else can talk about how clean the rooms are (ours was spotless) and how great the resort amenities are (we enjoyed Jade, the pools, and the spa). I'm going to focus on the little things. They had smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in the rooms (most places I've been don't have the carbon monoxide part). The water pressure in the shower was fantastic. The bathroom has an exhaust fan and the flush is high powered. You're able to cast to the TV so you can watch what you want. Those little things made the trip that much more enjoyable.

The staff here is super proffessional and just over all really nice to have around. They always smiled at me and were very generous! The place was very well kempt and SOOOOO Gorgeous! Never been somewhere so beautiful. When I imagine staying on a resort on mountain , THIS IS PERFECT!

Giving 4 stars because room service need to be better taken care of, had to look for someone to refill bathroom soap dispensers, had to go get some one to pick tray from food ordered last night.

My wife and I had our 20th Anniversary dinner here, and it was fantastic! The view from our outside seat was spectacular. We indulged on caviar, sea food platter, sea bass, and other amazing food. The wine and spirits selection was phenomenal. They really made my anniversary special! I would recommend coming here for special occasions for sure!

A complete experience. The Sanctuary team was consistently excellent. From check-in to Elements to the pool to the spa, Sanctuary Camelback met the high bar set for five star resorts. The massage was easily top 3 ever. Food - great. Room - great. Proximity to other activities (Mountain Shadows Short Course + Echo Canyon Trailhead) - also great.

This review is specifically about the spa.
I've visited before and was so impressed that I wanted to return for my birthday this year. The ammenities are amazing, jucuzzi, lux showers, saunas, pool, all to die for and the services are lovely however, the waiting area was packed and SO noisy it was obnoxious. I was there on a Tues in the morning. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they are busy and I know they can't control everyone BUT the main reason I chose to come back was for peace and serenity, ie SANCTUARY. I think they could, and should, do a better job of communicating that the waiting area is a quiet zone. Because of this I felt tense before my treatments and thoguh both great, it took time to relax, which is what the waiting area is supposed to be for.

A huge shout out to Megan U., Boutique Supervisor at Sanctuary. She was so helpful, pleasant and just AWESOME. I misplaced the gift card I received as a birthday gift. It took a few phone calls, getting the purchaser of my gift involved (My amazing sister) and they were able to find it! I am so grateful for her tenacity, great attitude and overall commitment to customer service. It's a dying art and she is a breathe of fresh air! I hope she gets some kind of award, paid day off or something. She deserves it! Thank YOU! I have frequented Sanctuary over the years for spa services, staycations, dining and even celebrated my 50th there! I will KEEP going back! Cheers! Catalina

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at the Sanctuary. Location is perfect, easy walk to the Echo Canyon trailhead. Rooms are clean, well maintained. Staff is awesome! Customer service is top notch, especially the poolside service!
The pool staff was always refilling ice, moving umbrellas, getting food and drink out. They worked tirelessly to take care of everyone. The front desk (Breanna? I think was her name) was so welcoming. We didn’t even park a car and the valet always greeted with a hello and a smile!

Very nice hotel. Loved the fitness center with boutique classes. Pilates instructor was awesome. Spa was very nice as well. Service very helpful. I don’t love being in a room that opens to parking lot but other than that it’s a wonderful property

I stayed at Sanctuary for a staycation at a casita with a Camelback view for $497 AZ resident rate ($50 food&bev credit).
1. The casita door was facing Camelback (no view)
2. All 3 white rugs were dirty and disgusting.
3. The pool service was horrible. I asked for a pitcher of water for 4 of us since most people had pitchers at their tables. I had to ask 3 times and ended receiving a cup which I could have walked over and got myself. We ordered 2orders of tacos and only received one order (each taco $7). The pool staff had the audacity to say we had already ate them because they picked up an empty plate of tacos. We ordered 2 orders for 2 people. They ended up delivering another order and charged us for the undelivered 2 tacos. The two got removed but the audacity of the staff to say we ate them when we told them they were never delivered. This is a 5 star resort at $500 a room and your telling the customers to their face that they are lying about undelivered $14.00 tacos. The worst experience I've ever had. I hesitated paying that much for a room because Montelucia was much cheaper however thought this was a 5 star hotel and expected to have a wonderful experience for my birthday. I will never go there again.
You can go to the pool there without staying there. The pool is open no room key needed. I saw a group of 4 girls park valet and walk right into the pool.
