The tv isn’t hooked up to WiFi. The kitchen is barely stocked with supplies for cooking. We found a spider nest of 8 spiders in the kid’s room. On top of that, the lack of communication and hidden fees is ridiculous. We not only are paying for our rooms and have to pay the entrance fee, but also apparently have to pay for parking?! Isn’t that included with the place we rented? Also, our group has pets and we read that the rooms won’t be cleaned if the pets are left unattended. That’s fine with us, but when we arrived they said that pets aren’t allowed to be unattended and threatened to check our place every hour to make sure it didn’t happen. Then they add an additional pet fee which wasn’t stated anywhere. You only get one confirmation email with minimal details. We didn’t even know where or how we were supposed to check-in without calling to ask. No maps or directions were given beyond its at the end of the highway. How is that helpful? I called ahead to see if pack n plays were available for our baby and they said we could request it but nothing is guaranteed and they are on a first come first serve basis. I’m glad that I brought my own because I’m sure I would have ended up with nowhere for my baby to sleep. We are staying at the Bullfrog Family Units. The only nice thing is the air conditioning.

Don’t bring your pets. Very misleading website which makes it seem like you can bring your pets and have a place for them to be while you are on the lake for a couple hours at a time. Would have found someone to watch my pets at home if the website had been more clear, but ended up in a tough situation after driving 5 hours to get here. Extremely rude customer service as well. Units are nice and in great shape, but overall experience was horrible.

We rented jet skis here and they looked as if they were pulled from the bottom of the lake! Not only were they in terrible condition but they persuaded us to get insurance for them sight unseen. Had I seen these thing prior to booking I would have chose another business and not insured them. We waiting 30min for someone to “help” us on the jet skis which took time away from the rental period and they hardly showed us anything at all or taught us boater education.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! HORRIBLE service. Its not the Lakes fault...lake was with Beautiful views. We rented a 48' houseboat with a faulty battery and the generator would not work.We called at 8am to have it fixed....no service by 5pm. We finally got irate with Ed (by our 7th phone call, Ed was the guy who answered our many friends calls) and when we got upset he talked to us like we were children with small IQ'S. VERY DISRESPECTFUL and derogatory in his tone. Dispite drinking 3 Liters of water and using the water slide most of the day WAITING, 2 of the 5 of us got heat exhaustion. You have now been warned. Don't use this company.

For a company worth $16 billion; the boats are poorly maintained and the employees are improperly trained. Definitely renting from a different company the next time.

Mike, the captain was a great host and very patient when trying to teach us new skills, I highly highly recommend him next time I am visiting Lake Powell. I will book him again.

Our family was only at Lake Powell for two days, and we really wanted a pontoon boat tour of the lake. I did not think to book ahead, as it was May, and I figured there would be availability. I was very wrong! After trying every boat tour company in the area, I thought I would give Surfs Up a try and see if just maybe they would do a boat tour..even tho this isn't really what they do. Boy, did I get lucky. Let me just say that Mike Reynolds took our family out on his day off (Sunday), and he gave us a fabulous pontoon ride around lake. He went out of his way to give us an amazing 2-3 hr boat tour of Lake Powell. If you are looking for a boating/surf adventure, pontoon rental, or a tour, definitely contact Captain Mike Reynolds at Surf's Up Lake Powell.

What a Diamond in the Rough!!!! My Family has been going to Lake Powell for years, and every time we've gone we've chosen different "tour/adventure" companies to experience while we're out in about. This by far has been the best experience. Capt. Mike was are guide and instructor when it came to Lake Powell!! He helped our entire family get up on a surf, wake, and kneeboards with ease, I can literally say no other company in the Six plus years we've been going have ever took the time or had the patience in teaching us about water sports. Capt Mike Thank you sir I will be telling everyone I know about this experience and your amazing water sports adventure you provide in lake powell!!!

To priceyOwner are stuck up had one point to me and say I tell you what to do.Definition of customer service is not in the vocabulary or morals.Looks can be lies behind the closed doors.Think 4 times before setting down the things you treasure the most here. They will try to be sly and take advantage of a situation for there benefits.
