So if you are in Page, AZ there is a good chance you are here for Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon (unfortunately Antelope Canyon was closed when we were here). There is a very main strip to this town, and there seems to be plenty of places to eat .... we chose kind of poorly, but not the fault of the city. The city kind of has a dated feel to it, but there are some newer areas that are pretty nice. There is some shopping here, mostly catering to people that enjoy the outdoors ... one great store comes to mind that had all sorts of outdoor activewear stuff available.Excluding our one dud of a restaurant choice, people here were all really so friendly and helpful. If you are here for Horseshoe Bend, note that they have a newer walking trail out to the viewpoint and it's really about as mild of a walk as you will have anywhere ---- and the prize at the end is spectacular. I'd recommend getting out here for sunrise and then come back to catch some of the morning light if you enjoy taking pics. All in all, if you're going to Horseshoe Bend you'll be going to the City of Page. I'd suggest carving out a little time to explore the city .... especially if you enjoy shopping for active wear and the sorts.
