One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had at a Wells Fargo. Today, I went through the drive through teller and a very bland-looking teller woman was so rude and unhelpful to me that I actually considered closing my account and moving it to another bank. I was trying to withdraw 24k and she was acting like I was trying to withdraw 300k or something. She started telling me that I "should have" done this and I "should have" done that and because she has poor listening skills, she assumed that I was going abroad the next day. She told me that she would have to order the 24k and it probably would not be ready for a couple of weeks. umm ok. I asked her if she could tell me another branch in the area that could possibly help me; she then proceeded to tell me that she had no idea what other branches have or did not have. WOW. That is real customer service right there.
I did call Wells Fargo and asked them if they could help me find a bank that could help me after I had told them about the incident and when they found out the amount, they just snickered and said they were surprised as that is not really considered that large of a withdrawal. Anyway, they were so helpful to me and got everything organized and taken care of for me so thankfully they made up for that terrible experience.
To whom it may concern in management at this bank: This teller is no position whatsoever to tell me what I should and should not do. Her job is to provide excellent customer service that represents the Wells Fargo name. In addition to that, she is lazy and rude unlike the corporate representative who actually did her job.

Been a Wells Fargo customer for 40 years and have had multiple accounts with them including a business account within the last 6 years. If you are pre approved for a loan it should NOT take 4 weeks to get things going!
Purchasing a house was quicker! I’ll be taking my business and money elsewhere.

I drive my 90 year old Dad to your bank. We always use the drive thru and all the tellers are so great and patient with him. They kid him about buying lottery tickets and Dad loves it! They joke back and forth and it's so Special! The one teller even knew Dad was a U of A coach! What a superb team!

Horrible customer service... If you are on the fence about commiting suicide, working with Wells Fargo will push you over the top and you will be able to move forward with your suicide goals...

I just left my appointment at Rooney Ranch branch. My soon to be college freshman , opened an account this morning with a very pleasant man named Carlos Jimenez . He made the experience very easy and was able to make sure my daughter understood all the terms and bank slang . He was quite personable and I am so sad that I am moving across town , because it’s people like him that make you want to pick your bank home . I was recently at the orange grove and Oracle branch to try and open one there , and was super frustrated because they were all standing around and the woman behind the glass was very rude because I don’t make an online appt . We were turned away , and turns out that’s not even a branch that does provides the service of new accounts . Which might of been what she led with . So again I’m very happy that we had a great experience with Carlos at Rooney , just bummed that I will have to find a new bank home .

Sad decline in a formerly great bank. Since the Chase merger, WF has cut staff, added fees, reduced service, and made themselves generally very difficult to deal with. They want appointments for any service, but don't answer the phone when you call. Heaven help anyone who needs something today -- appointments are tomorrow or on down. Employee morale is poor, service is poor. I'm shopping my business accounts.

This is a good branch with good staff. Had great experience earlier when I have been here. But today was a bit different. I went in to get some documents notarized. 2 copies of 2 documents to be exact. My prior experience with notarization was great where once the Branch manager and another lady at 2nd time had helped with lot of courtesy. The young lady at the counter today insisted that for notarizing 4 pages, I needed an appointment. There were 30 mins until closing time and no other customer there besides me. She told me to call tomorrow morning to check for an appointment. BTW, while I was at the counter for 10 mins, she discussed with another employee as to what needs to be done to notarize the documents, checked my documents, told me the process to setup an appointment, but somehow didn't think there was enough time for the actual work. Just to add, I had not made an appointment on prior occasions so did not know it was needed. So I left from there and just thought that may be I could have better luck at AAA, which is about 3 miles south. Reached there at 3:50 and got the notary done there in exactly 5 mins as expected. So disappointed by today's experience. This was a bad case of customer service, which is not usually the case at this branch. I understand that there are procedures, and would have been fine if they were busy. Hoping customer experience is better going forward.

I have been a WF customer for many years but I am in the process of moving my accounts to another bank. My sad story is that I was the victim of phishing fraud by email and I notified them the same day the fraud occurred. All WF had to do was reverse the pending illegal transactions on my checking account, but they refused. I then had my "claim" investigated and the claim dept. decided this was all my fault and would not credit my account, even though it was fraud. They characterized it as "an error" so as to avoid reimbursement. Obviously, they do not value their customers.

I would agree with the other raters that the staff is outstanding, especially Jackie, but my positive thoughts abruptly end there. It is often impossible to get through by phone as no one is made available to take calls, and no voice mail messages can be left, so banking questions go unanswered. Because of pandemic issues, lobby visits are discouraged and phone calls are not answered, so it is a challenge to do business with them. In addition, messages left on their "contact us" board are not answered. There is no way to get concerns remedied---business must be good. Very frustrating to conduct our family business with them, and we are on the verge of finding another bank and taking our monthly and very desirable direct deposit retirement checks with us---but, sadly I think they couldn't care any less than they do. My one star rating is generous. Perhaps one half star would fit the bill because their staff is superb.
