Was discriminated against while shopping. My sister and I were followed the entire time, even to the point of being stared at on the other side of the aisle. Just gave off an uncomfortable and racist vibe being in there. To make it worse, the police were sitting right outside the store and left once we paid and left too

They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced, left me standing at the register while they finished their conversation at the benefit bar, mocked me for asking if they had a product I was looking for and then did not give me my gift with purchase. I’ve shopped at Ulta for year and I will not return. I’d rather spend my money where I am treated with dignity.

Staff would rather chat with each other than work and help customers. Also, the amount of staff to help customers is inadequate. The demographic is majority upper class white people, so the employees don't know to recommend products for people with more melanin (do your own research online first). Corporate Ulta Beauty is more concerned with getting people to sign up for credit cards than truly helping customers by staffing adequately and providing quality products for all demographics. Don't rely on the in store availability feature on the app because despite the demographics in this area, people steal from this location often which helps lead to inaccurate inventory results on the app. Plus, unlike other Ultas they keep tester fragrances out on display vs other Ulta locations that lock up all their fragrances because theft is a huge issue with this business.

Visited this location today as I was gifted a shopping spree for my birthday. When we entered there was only one employee by the front/register who said hello. As I went to the “high end” cosmetic side I noticed no one there. Which was weird as I’ve been to many many ultas and the reason I choose ulta over sephora is because the employees are always friendly and helpful. Not this time. When I walked in further into the store I can see 3 employees (1/2 are probably the salon employees in the back) just chitchatting. I continued my shopping until I couldn’t find things I’ve both found in ulta stores before as well as brands they tend to carry. Then one of the employees from the back walked up and pass me without saying anything to her personal area near the Clinique wall and I walked up to her asking for help. She simply said they don’t carry the brand (KVD, they do online) which okay fine, then I asked for a Mac product and she said if it’s not on the counter then they don’t carry it (blacktrack gel liner which is always in stores atleast the ones I’ve been to). Her tone and attitude made me feel like I was bothering her to assist me in her job which made me very annoyed so I was ready to leave. Then my boyfriend whose treating me on this shopping trip said well what about the perfume you wanted to get. And I decided true while I’m here might as well, I was going to get J’adore by Dior the biggest instore size is 3.7oz which is over $170. We stood there for 10 minute looking for someone to help. No one came by because they were all too busy chatting with each other. Feeling even more annoyed now I just told my boyfriend I rather go to sephora or online because this is the worst customer service I’ve ever received at an Ulta. So we left, as we were leaving the same unhelpful employee was chatting it up with the cashier not paying any attention to us or any other customers in the store.
This never happens, usually employees are borderline hounding you to help. This location however, no employee cared to sell or help. Then why would I spend any money there.
I’d try a different location for sure.

DON’T LET ASTRA OR SAMANTHA TOUCH YOUR HAIR! First off I walked in and wasn’t greeted by anyone. I had a salon appointment with Astra. She is the blonde specialist there or so what they all said. I came in and explained to her I understand if I have to come in multiple sessions to get my hair as light as I wanted. The last time I got it done I left in tears and let my hair grow out for 5 years and cut all of the color off. It was virgin hair she was working with and still messed it up! She left bleached caked on the bottom of my hair after I left that was not washed out which I didn’t realize until I was in the middle of work. There were two lines across my head that were darker which she explained it was just the toner sticking to that spot more. My hair was tinted purple and I looked like a tiger walking around for a week which by the way the lines never washed out. My hair is three different colors and spotted all over, along with the darker lines across my head. After sitting there for 4 and a half hours… I’m yet in tears again! Terrible experience! When I called the manager she had an attitude! I was told I can’t get my generous tip back when refunded or my point used! Management is a joke!

Had an appointment with someone named Sy Sy never show up. I stood at the counter for over 10 minutes. No one said hi and then when they came and asked me what I wanted they told me sy did not come in today so they don’t even call you to cancel you get to come in and I’m a bleach retouch, sad salon very sad!!

In February I made appointments for my wedding day for me and my 2 bridesmaids to get our hair and makeup done in May(keeping in mind I live in GA!) I get the notifications and all seems well. So come the day over May 25th and I try to check in, my appointments disappear! Any brides tells you the panic that comes across their face is always there, the managers found the issues and the girls who were supposed to do our service got fired! The panic increases! But thankfully the manager and staff was able to have the Clinique rep apply all of our makeup as well as have Veronica get me in for hair between clients! Overall a bad situation turned amazing! I would recommend this place highly! Plus I found a brand I love!
