“In the last year and a half (Jan 2023 - July 2024), I have ordered 2 pair of custom boots from Paul Bond Boots. The first pair is bone colored ostrich with brown alligator wing tips and heel counters and calf skin tops. The second pair is gray shark with blue stingray wing tips and heel counters. (See photo.) I wore Tony Lamas for years, but their quality and selection have slipped, as well as their customer service. (Tony L. used to make my size upon request with no problem, now they won't even consider it.) Paul Bond quality and fit is excellent, and I love them both! The staff were great to deal with and I had no problem with communication, even with the change over to new management. Custom boots are obviously more expensive than off the shelf, and take more time to build. They have an amazing supply of leather and threads on hand. I am totally satisfied and would highly recommend Paul Bond Boots! Note: (Personal OPINION) the best way to get custom boots that fit correctly is to have your feet measured, NOT trace around your own foot!) I have small feet, and Paul Bond Boots measured my feet twice on the day I placed the order, just to make sure the measurements were correct.) Ask for Lily!”
