In the last year and a half (Jan 2023 - July 2024), I have ordered 2 pair of custom boots from Paul Bond Boots. The first pair is bone colored ostrich with brown alligator wing tips and heel counters and calf skin tops. The second pair is gray shark with blue stingray wing tips and heel counters. (See photo.) I wore Tony Lamas for years, but their quality and selection have slipped, as well as their customer service. (Tony L. used to make my size upon request with no problem, now they won't even consider it.) Paul Bond quality and fit is excellent, and I love them both! The staff were great to deal with and I had no problem with communication, even with the change over to new management. Custom boots are obviously more expensive than off the shelf, and take more time to build. They have an amazing supply of leather and threads on hand. I am totally satisfied and would highly recommend Paul Bond Boots! Note: (Personal OPINION) the best way to get custom boots that fit correctly is to have your feet measured, NOT trace around your own foot!) I have small feet, and Paul Bond Boots measured my feet twice on the day I placed the order, just to make sure the measurements were correct.) Ask for Lily!

The boots they were gonna put together for me. We’re outstanding specially for work because some security sites asked you to address professionally I’m trying to get the website so I can order some more and put them together but overall, I’m gonna give them a five stars. ???

After a very large deposit and 5 months of waiting, they didn't fit! I can't wait another 5 months for a redo. Let's cancel the order and maybe we can come back another time.
Sure, but there is a 35% restocking fee! It's been the policy forever. There is nothing in writing to tell you about it. Anywhere!

I purchased The Dallas boot the way it looks on the Website except with 4a toe and 3+ inch heel 22" tops and a snug fit. The boot looks just like the photo on the website with an amazing custom fit. The stitching is very well Done. They also added a little red leather to the pull straps! Be patient with the process its well worth the wait. Remember if you order over the phone your measurements need to be accurate. The craftmanship from the boot artisans is outstanding!

Do yourself a favor and do NOT buy anything from Paul Bond Boot Company!In the past I had bought two very nice pairs of boots from them so I thought they were good to deal with.I had positive experience in the past. But somthing changed now. I wish I had read all the many negative reviews before I made the mistake of dealing with them again. Unfortunately, people and businesses do change.I paid them $750.00 on Oct. 25 2022 for a pair of boots. They said they would be complete in 6 months or less. Around the 6 month mark I tried to contact them, just to inquire about the boots progress. They would not answer my calls from my phone. I tried calling from a different phone and guess what, the manager answered right away. I identified myself and inquired about my boot order and the manager sounded surprised it was me since I was calling from a different number. He said my boots were almost done and would ship out the next week. A week goes by and no boots. Not surprised or overly concerned. I call back from a different phone and talk to a different employee. This employee seamd like a good man and wanted to help. The employee said he didnt known anything about my order or the description of the boots they were supposedly "finishing up". He said they had not been working on any boots that matched my order description. This employee said he would have manager return my call. I never got a call. Now, the manager won't answer his phone or the business phone or return text messages. So, pretty convinced he lied about the whole thing, kept or embezzled my deposit and has no intention of building the boots. I asked for a refund and no response. Like so many others I am convinced I am just another victim of their lies, scams, and dishonesty.Find another custom Boot Maker!Paul Bond Boot Company has been taken over by frauds and liers!

I will agree with all the other negative reviews. Something bad has happened in the last few years with Paul Bond Boot Co. Lots of lies and double talk is the best you can expect from them! Save your time and money and try someone else, they’re just a bunch of border town con men! Michael has to be the biggest liar in Arizona

Do not buy anything from this company. They are frauds, and thieves . My husband ordered a pair of boots 11.11.21. and was told that he would have the boots in 5-6 weeks. Three months later he called and sent an email asking about the boots. Received no response. I then called in June 2022, to which Michael said they would be shipped out in the next few days and confirmed our address. Still nothing. They will not answer our calls. My husband was finally able to reach them 12.14.22 and requested a refund of $760. To which Michael told him to send an email with his information, which my husband did, and he still has not received a refund. My husband has left several messages and received no response and no refund. This is a fraudulent company that steals from out of town buyers, do not buy from them.

I bought a pair of custom fit boots for $985. They never fit. When I first picked them up they were huge on me. They had to re do them. When I picked them up the second time they were to small. They tried to blame me both times. Come on you people took the measurements not me! Sent them back again. Still to tight. Beware

Awful company,do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for custom boots. Michael the so called manager is not trustworthy,in fact I can tell you how you can know he is lying,,,,his lips will be moving, everything this guy says is untrue. There are folks who had rather lie than tell the truth, Michael is one of those. He said he would refund my account immediately, haven't seen it yet and now he will not answer my calls,,this guy is a charlatan,protect your money and stay away from this rogue outfit. I bet Mr.Paul Bond is rolling over in his grave, seeing what these criminals have done to his once reputable company. Buyer beware,if you want to tie your money up indefinitely,order a pair of boots from Michael!!!!!!!!!!!! In response to the derelict owner and manager of this so called boot co.... Where is my money??? The refund you promised to issue three weeks ago?? In point of fact,this is the only negative feedback I have left for any company,ever, and you all certainly deserve it!!

If you want a GREAT PAIR of BOOTS this is the place. They made my right boot to fit my amputated,forefoot,(Vietnam vet), unbelievable, I can dance!!- walk, with no discomfort, love my Paul Bond Boots. Worth every PENNY!!

What an amazing place to go to see. you'll see how their beautiful custom made boots are made. their service is very friendly. I forgot the name of the friendly young man that helped us but he's the tallest Mexican you'll ever meet. their boots are beautiful pieces of art as well as high quality items . My husband has a pair that he owned for 30 years and they're still in perfect condition.
