We stopped by on a whim and were warmly greeted by the owner who let us pet several of the donkeys (my favorite!) and mustangs she was caring for on her property.Most of them are wild rescues (from roundups) that she is training for adoption. Very fun little outing. Left a donation with the owner and were on our way.

We went to One Step burro rescue yesterday to find a companion for our old mare. We not only adopted Apollo but also adopted Cooper! Stacy Thomas and her friend who had Apollo were two of the sweetest and kindest ladies ever! They took there time talking with us and telling us every thing we needed to know... This is the best rescue org. that we have ever seen You can tell how much time,care and love is put into these rescues. We didn't have a trailer to haul with do Stacy is going to give us time to make sure we are ready for these two to come to their forever home and she is going to haul them up to us!! It was a wonderful experience yesterday we really enjoyed it and can't wait to get the guys here!!! Thank you so much for everything Stacy!! Be seeing you soon
