Anthem Community Center is amazing!Exclusively for residents of Anthem it boasts many features: swimming pools for athletes and divers and children, water park, weight rooms with machines and free weights, dance rooms, small class rooms, outdoor fields, summer camps, pickleball courts, indoor basketball courts, volleyball courts, and more!The staff are great and the program directors are phenomenal. There is always something going on there.If you are an Anthem resident you should not miss this amenity!

This is not a community center, it is a private club. Access is not available to the public unless they are escorted by members.

My time working here was Amazing even at Anthem Park right along side. Regardless the lack of the cleaning crew I worked for. Just a few handful that actually did what was Intended. Maggie, Chuck, Norma. Very dedicated cleaners that gave it their all from detail cleaning to deep cleaning. An amazing trio of cleaners that's for sure. I was satisfied with the outcome as a Maintence cleaner. I was able to Accomplish without having what apparently the lack side of others from the cleaning crew telling me to do. What a shame they've counted me out but won't and can't do what I did for this place. As for Managment Dave is one hell of a Manager. Poliet, loyal, patient, and caring for his Employee's. Strong leader right there. Along with the one's I was grateful to have met working there. Vince and Carter working security. Zack, and a few other's I forgot their names but won't forget how grateful they were to me along the Dedication they had for their Job description. Wish you all nothing but the best my good friend's.

Great place, but I have one issue. I do Ju-jitsu here and our room is always being moved around. Sometimes they even move us to a different building! (Civic center). In general, not too bad though. Nice rock climbing wall.

Misinformation abound. Called ahead while we were traveling to see if we could purchase a day pass to go swimming. Was told on the phone we could purchase a pass for $7 per person as a guest. We drove all the way in and when we got there they said we couldn’t even purchase a pass for entry because we were non-residents. Why even call ahead if they won’t give you the correct information?

Prejudice center. I pay thousands to have my son and daughters to be apart of the activities at the community center. The other night we went for my daughter's dance class. While we were standing in the hallway I saw a worker named "bob." After seeing my SPANISH family and ITALIAN friends, he stops and gives a dirty look and waits for a minute. He turns around and goes to the front desk and points to us. I ran to ask if there was a problem but he ran to the back office really mad. I asked the worker what he said. He said "why are they here, their not supposed to be here, they are non residents. " Then the worker said he told them that "yes they are because they pay to be here."This is profiling. Harsh words right. You have to understand that when you walk in, you have to check in. Free for residence and non residence pay. He was really hoping that me and my family and my friends family snook in. That way he could kick us out. Also there were others in the hallway. Why did he only point to us and not the white people?We will not stand for racism so the family I was with and also my family will be canceling all of our classes that we pay for. I will also be telling the teachers the reason why we are canceling their classes.

Anthem is a great community to live in, but the HOA is a total pain. After paying dues for 15 years I now have to pay them a large fee for the privilege of selling my home. When you call nobody is available past the front counter workers and they wont say when someone else is available. Crazy frustrating, glad I'm outta here. Buyers beware

Staff uses any excuse in the book to close the pool and the water park. Does not re-evaluate weather conditions to reach informed decisions, but instead just shuts everything down.

i was so disrespected by acc at the counter in the front, i went to go hang out with friends and was told that i could not go in and at the time my friend had his dad and the lady said that i can’t go with them at all and the lady that i am talking about is the lady that works till 3:00 I wish I could be treated with better attitude I will be going back but I’m just saying this place is a one star for me

I highly recommend anthem because it’s taking over by a bunch of wild kids that don’t know how to mind their own business and they’re being bullies to people that are disabled it’s ridiculous to Walgreens out here and the community center the parents are too busy counting money when their kids are acting like wild banshees I’m going back to my old neighborhood to work out that’s absolutely ridiculous.

If I could give this gym a negative score, I would. My family lives in Anthem and are members of the community center. My brother was home on leave from the Marine Corps prior to him leaving for deployment. My brother and I bought (2) $50 punch cards and we're not informed we needed a family member with us, so we worked out. This morning, my brother, my girlfriend and I, attempted to workout. We attempted to repeat the process and buy a pass for her. It should be noted my girlfriend and I are both first responders. We all wanted to workout to maintain our fitness for obvious reasons. By no means we're we looking for a free-ride, we just wanted to workout. The team member stated we could not workout without a family member. We requested the supervisor and we had the same result. We were also not able to get our money back. Unfortunately this gym is not very supportive of military and first responders. I Do no recommend.

I came here on vacation for the summer.The staff are really kind and helpful. lifeguards are professional, focused. The lifeguards are really polite. The area is very cleaned and well managed.I am really looking forward to coming next summer and having fun. And I have had a really fun time this summer.

Regarding the Community center there is always something they can do better every day to be successful. If you want to reach your fitness goal , taking a challenge , making a commitment ,build yourself physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually Darlene Lang is the Fitness Instructor that you need . It was my doctor who recommended me to attend her classes. After 25 weeks I reached my goal , I couldn’t be happier with the results. Every day I’m getting better than the day before. Working with a successful team we have the tools for tremendous success. Thank you Darlene Lang .
