Old white lady that is at the self check out is super rude and makes smart remarks. Definitely not someone you would want to keep business coming back I will drive the extra 10 mins to find another food city to just avoid her.

Heidi B. has worked here since it was a Bashas. She has always made weird and slightly rude comments to me. I live within walking distance from this store but have started avoiding the daytime hours due to her weird infatuation with being rude to me. I have even brought other people to shop with me to male sure it was real. I've never been treated so off the wall before. It's only her at this store. There is no one else at this store who makes weird comments to me. So I just avoid her hours now.

Are you KIDDING!!!! Purely Deception, I purchased a package of Danishes and what I was some type of fruit filling......NOPE!!!! The filling was just spreadef on the sides to create the deception of being filled with jam or some other Fruit filling.SHAME ON YOU FOOD CITY BAKERY!!!IF a person is using EBT as a way to purchase this item this item this be consider fraud....deceiving the public to gain government funds is fraud?

I am mentioning Food City from my experience visiting Foold City in Nogales AZ. I visited twice over a week's time and bought Papayas at a discount and enjoyed them, but in the Deli they had Chile Rellenos and they were delicious and so good that I returned for more a few days later. I have not yet visited the Phx. area story on Brown in Mesa, AZ., but I called them and they do have a deli and they do offer Chile Rellenos, too, so I'm hoping to visit soon. The ones I enjoyed were very well made and this is a favorite from the summers I've spent in Mexico.

First time in this store and was very pleased. Very clean, well organized, great produce area and good prices on fresh meat. We are going to try out a recipe for Chili Verde and needed several varieties of peppers and thought this would be the store to have them all and sure enough they did! Plus the pork butt roast and everything else we needed including cumin seeds and Mexican oregano (which smells wonderful by the was)! So we are all set to start cooking tomorrow without having to run all over to get what we needed. I think this is going to be our go to store.

awesome grocery store! Great deals on fresh produce, avocados 4 for $1 !!! Can't beat that anywhere! Large selection of spices. Deli countre has amazing foods prepared fresh. Best chile releno ever! Also gotta take some of the flattened grilled chicken home, it's beyond delicious!!!

Local Hispanic supermarket. It's not new or fancy, but it's the closest shop to the Oakland As spring training stadium and perfectly fine place to stock up on drinks and snacks for your hotel or future games.
