In short: go somewhere else, trust me. This pharmacy is now staffed by the C-grade students, instead of the older American professionals. This used to be a great pharmacy with professional, patient, and caring employees, especially the pharmacist who was an older white gentleman and a pharmacy tech who knew me so well, she recognized me by my face alone; we got along very well. They’ve since hired an Asian pharmacist with a difficult accent to parse through, is curt, and aggressive. Unfortunately, that includes the rest of his team. Perhaps I just have to find out when the other team is working the pharmacy. My physician sent an order for a medication and they refuse to fill it, fully. I called my insurance and they said that they were limited to dispensing a one month supply per their contract with the State. My call with my insurance was cordial, professional, and (believe it or not) faster than the hold this abysmal pharmacy “staff” put me on. While I’ve had to twist their arms to do the bare minimum several times, now, with the unintelligible Asian “pharmacist” and his “team,” the staff on the shift under the older White pharmacist who actually earned his degree in the US, has been helpful, courteous, and caring for years, now. I’m glad I’m moving very soon so I can transfer pharmacies and find one that is staffed by professionals. To be clear, it’s not the fact that the pharmacy followed the limits of my insurance, I’ve never had an issue with that, it’s the fact that I had to deal with a tech who was, frankly, dismissive and downright rude. Then, after a 12 minute hold, when I finally got to speak to the “pharmacist,” I could barely understand him and he was downright aggressive. This is for an important medication, not just something like cough syrup. You would think they’d be more understanding. The absolute best part was when he flat out refused to send me any official form that indicated that what he was saying was indeed correct. That just tells me he’s not even sure if he’s right and doesn’t want to take responsibility for making the call he made. It’s especially disheartening because so many phenomenal people are looking for jobs, but they’re being filled by these kinds of folks.Honestly, avoid this pharmacy. Go to another Walgreens, Target, or even Walmart. It’s not worth dealing with the bottom of the barrel, at this specific location. It’s sad to see it go downhill due to this joke of a team. I’ve loved and used this location for about a decade. Never had an issue, until now.

absolutely the worst. not just one visit. Every visit. And if you want to call them? Forget about it. Because they just pick up the phone and put it back down they don't even ask you if you want to hold. With the exception of one female pharmacist, the entire staff, except for the assistant manager a young man I believe his name is Ryan but I don't know. Horrible, horrible, horrible Pharmacy. Apathetic, unprofessional, and quite frankly inappropriate.

The only reason I use Walgreens pharmacy is because this one is close to me and has a drive thru. I have learned to order my insulin at least a week before I need it. Once again, they are out of stock. Its been three days and its still not in. How can a pharmacy run out of something like insulin? How does it take over three days to restock? If you can, use CVS. This never happened with them.

I went there to drop off a Prescription for my cousin and they could not find her in the system and could not find the Insurance info. I had to run back home to get the insurance card and they told me they close at 10pm so I had plenty of time to get it and come back. I came back 10 minutes before the store closes and the Pharmacy is already closed! I had to drive to the Walgreens on Warner and Dobson to get it filled, I called them on the way there and they had no problem finding her info and the insurance and had it ready by the time I got there! Walgreens on Main needs to get their shit together and learn how to do their job correctly!

Don’t ever get medication sent here. Something always goes wrong or they don’t have it in stalk or they say the dr didn’t write the prescription correctly. It’s a total mess. I take the extra mile and use target pharmacy because by the time you get medication here you’re probably dead or dying .

My husband and I went to MY Walgreens appointment today to get my 1ST Covid shot, AT the 2024 West Main, Mesa, AZ Walgreens.Girl at pharmacy said, "How can I help you?"Me: "I'm here for my Covid shot."Girl (looking at monitor) asked for my last name which I gave her.Girl (still looking at monitor) said, "Can I have your vaccine card?" (????)Me: I said, again: "I'm here for my 1ST Covid shot."Girl, (looking at the monitor): "Oh, I thought you said booster."(????) (Another pharmacy girl walks up and whispers into the 1st girl's ear.)Girl (looking at the monitor): "Can I have your insurance card."Me: "I'm a veteran. The VA is my insurance." And I gave her my VA card.Girl took my card, resumed looking at monitor and said, "Yeah, this doesn't work." (Again, the other pharmacy girl whispers into the 1st girl's ear.)Me: "How much IS a Covid shot?"Girl: "$2.99"Say WHAT"Pharmacy girl was giving me crap over a $3 buck shot??Girl (still looking at monitor) said, "We don't have an appointment anywhere at any Walgreens."THEN, then girl said, "Yeah, without an appointment ..." and she shrugged her shoulders! ...NOT saying that she could set up an appointment for me;...NOT saying how I could set up a valid appointment;...NOTHING! Just a shrug of her shoulders.I looked around. There was NOT ONE person at the pharmacy but us and less than 5 customers in the store. What happened with what pharmacy girl said to me FIRST ..."How can I halp you?"It was obvious: Pharmacy girl WASN'T there to HELP anyone at all.In fact, everything pharmacy girl said and did was OPPOSITE of helping us.We said goodbye.

Heather pharmacy operations manager was very rude to me just now. All I asked her was 2 simple questions, it took her less than 3muns to answer . Both questions I asked of her , I got short n bothersome responses to both.

They filled my significant other's meds at a Walgreens that is 1.5 hours away, then gave his medication to an unknown person, complete with his name, home address & prescribing doctor. A HUGE privacy concern. So what's he supposed to do now? His needed medications & personal information were given to a third party at an out of town store. He now needs to contact his doctor to fix this. Walgreens didn't know "how this happened"... Not even a passing apology was offered. We're changing pharmacies.

The best pharmacy in my opinion! Staff is always helpful and over the phone, too.
