I have no idea how this daycare is for children, seeing as I've tried to enroll my kids for the past few weeks, and no one answers my calls or returns them. I have handed them all of the paperwork necessary and was told I would receive a call. That was a week ago. I have called dozens of times, no answer at all, I've left numerous voicemails, and have gotten no response. That's a bit alarming if no one can answer the phone now...

First we were excited to take our child to Tutor Time, because it looked like a well organized place with cctv, which parents can watch, safe. But soon after we noticed our child being left alone and bored, crying every single day there and not wanting to go in the mornings. He was also getting sick way too often. Of course, there are a few nice members of staff working there, but our main teacher wasn't compassionate or caring and unfortunately it was rather a traumatic experience for us than enjoyable. We took our child elsewhere after that and he's blooming now and is happy!

Tellisha is absolutely wonderful. I think more kids with troubles would have success if other teachers were like her. My son has not had the best of luck with schools but it seems like we finally have the one for him. She understands his struggles and areas of improvement, is firm but doesn't treat him like a criminal. I've seen so much improvement at home as well since attending this tutor time. THANK YOU for helping my son and having him enjoy going to school!

First impression was horrible. Made an appointment for 5:30pm. Showed up at 5:22pm with my husband and my son for our appointment. The front door states masks were needed. I didn't have one and my husband did. I walked in and there were two girls seated behind the front desk, and one standing up beside the desk in the lobby area. I kindly asked if they had a spare mask and they all looked at each other and then the one standing up told me that they did not. She asked me if I was there for a tour. I said yes. She then went on to say that 5:30pm is their busiest times for pick up and asked if I had an appointment. (Clearly annoyed). I told her that yes, I did for 5:30pm. She looked put off and then went into an office with clear glass that I could see her flipping through a book. They were super unwelcome. Not sure what has happened to customer service. No hello? How can we help you? No smiles. No, we are doing check outs but will be right with you, thank you so much for waiting. Just annoyed looks like we were being an inconvenience even though we had an appointment. If 5:30pm is a stressful time for the staff then it should not be offered as a tour time. While the staff member was looking through the book in the office we just excused ourselves and left. Not giving this company our business when they lack proper customer service skills. How can I trust them to take care of my child?

I had a problem with my current daycare and needed to change. Went to Tutor Time's website and signed up for info. Got a call in minutes. They stated that they have availability. Made an appointment to visit and sign up. I got there and they didn't even talk to me. Just: no availability until Feburary, bye. Wasted my time and not even nice about it

I have been attending Tutor time since January 2018 when my kids were 3 and 1. I have been fortunate enough to spend some time at the school as a helper for the photography shoots. This has allowed me to get to know the teachers and staff. I love that there are multiple teachers that have longevity at this location, meaning 10+ years there. One teacher just received a plaque for 20 years. What an incredible accolade. Every time I walk into the school, I am greeted and I see staff members cleaning. Every day I see the main entry way floors being cleaned, pens cleaned, and classrooms. I am down to one child at the school now, and he is constantly telling me how he has certain jobs in Mr. John’s class. Wednesdays seems to be the particular cleaning day, although I am told every day is cleaning day! I appreciate that the staff has gotten to know my children, helped educate them and prepare them for kindergarten and beyond. Ex taught my youngest child to spell his name when he was 2 years old. She is always energetic and excited to see him in the morning. Mr. John runs strict classroom, and I appreciate this. He comes up with very creative activities for the kids to do, including holiday art. He is enforcing an excellent work environment, emphasizes the importance of learning the alphabet and all the sounds the letters make. This is truly valuable as he is preparing kids for the next level – elementary school. I believe the teachers chose this location because they care about the kids, being a safe, clean environment, and creating a positive classroom for kids to grow and prosper. I appreciate all that Tina does for her staff, and constant communication. She is constantly updating Brightwheel App to stay in communication of changes with mask mandates, holiday/staff training closures, and individual updates on your children. I am appreciative that my sister-in-law started here first, so I could save myself all the research. This is a great educational facility for infants-junior kindergarten kids. It is clean, safe, and a great learning environment.

Don't let Christina (Tina) fool you, she is very unprofessional and not understanding. This daycare is disgusting behind closed doors. They just let children urinate all over the bathroom floors and leave it there all day until who ever has to come in to clean it. That is very unsanitary!!! I feel so bad for whoever their maintenance is. With a pandemic going on they should be more concerned with practicing cleaning during the day not just at night, especially when caring for children! The only time that place looks good is in the morning but that's because they obviously have a maintenance come in at night, but when they are closing this place looks like they don't care. It's sad that full grown adults can't keep a healthy clean environment for children throughout the day especially with COVID-19 going on. I really hope they realize you can't leave urine on the floor all day until you close and maintenance has to come take care of that.

I have been blown away by Tutor Time Mesa! They have far exceeded my expectations, and I would 1000% recommend you take your child here. I have been through my fair share of daycare's, and Tutor Time is by far/hands down the most professional place I have been to. The director is friendly, attentive, and NICE. I have been to so many places where the director seems stressed out and just grumpy, and this feeds to the teachers and ultimately the kids! Tutor Time sends me photos, messages, and reminders through the app and make it very easy to pay online. All of the teachers are kind/happy, and the teachers in my sons class specifically are very patient with my son who cries every day at drop off - less than a few weeks in, and he is reaching for the teachers at drop off.

I was discriminated at this location over the phone the first person a spoke to right away asked me if I was going to pay out of pocket or with DES assistance, after I told him I probably will get DES assistance he immediately gave me a phone # to a different location(Child Time Mesa) CTM didn’t have opening for one of my kids, so I decided to give Tutor time Mesa one more phone call, this time I got to speak to a lady that was much helpful and she did answer my question as to if Tutor time Mesa accepted DES contracts her answer was YES. She gave me an appointment to meet with the Director of TTM( Christina) and she said she would note on there that I was going to get DES assistance, so I got to the appointment and Director( Christina es gone for the day, I didn’t get phone call or anything to cancel our meeting. The lady at front desk was kind of helpful she took my phone # and name and said she was going to check if there was space for my school age child and would give me a call to let me know the following day, but right before I left she asked if I was going to be paying out of pocket or with DES, I felt as if I shouldn’t tell her DES because that would mean my kids can’t attend their facility. While I was there at the front desk speaking to the employee that helped me all I saw around me was white, blonde blue eyed clients ( parents picking up their children) Im very disappointed with the way I was treated and will not recommend this place to anyone, my kids will not be attending this facility wether I pay out of pocket or not. Very unprofessional as if I had to have blue eyes and blonde hair in order to have my kids go to this daycare, I was discriminated.

I have 3 daughters that have all gone here. My last is just now entering kindergarten this fall. Tina, the director, has been there forever. Her and her team take excellent care of your children. It is a competitive price to other daycares for what you get. I highly recommend them!

I love this facility and I know I am one of those "hard to please" parents. Since the day we started our kids here, I have always felt like they are safe and well taken care of. Their whole staff is great- Jeremy, John and Lauren for the school aged children and Jessica, Katie, Shayna and Dulce in the younger rooms, just to name a few. Truly everyone there has been fantastic with our kids, I wish I could give every one of them a shout out! They all deserve recognition and are very patient, friendly teachers. Tina is an excellent manager and very responsive to parents needs. She is always at the front desk saying hello and goodbye to every parent and child. She really does a great job of making you feel welcome and also addresses and resolves any concerns quickly.I wish we weren't moving so we could continue at this location. If you are considering childcare in the area, this location should be at the top of your list!

I am not one to normally write reviews of businesses that I have not actually used, but my wife and I had such an unpleasant experience with an employee at this location that I felt compelled to leave feedback. We currently utilize a different Tutor Time location in South Phoenix for our 9 month-old son. The staff and teachers there are wonderful and have been extremely accommodating and kind. Recently we have been looking for one that is closer to our house and scheduled a tour of this location. The employee that we dealt with at the front desk was awful. Right off the bat they didn't seem to know we had scheduled a tour and repeatedly told us (to the point of exhaustion) that they had no space in their infant room. We were aware of this but still wanted to do a walkthrough and meet the teachers like we had been able to do for the other locations we had gone to before. The employee would only take my wife on the tour, which basically only consisted of walking about 10 feet to the infant room - that was the only thing they showed her. My wife had wanted to meet the teachers or at least step inside the room to see everything - the employee refused to let her based on a "concern about measles". Never mind that both of us and our son (who wasn't even on the tour at this point) are up to date on our vaccinations. At every other Tutor Time location I've been to, the location provides pull on slippers adults have to wear in the infant room so they don't track dirt, germs, etc. into the class. While my wife was on the tour she witnessed a parent go in to pick up their child without putting on the slippers. This irritates me not only because they went in the room with a disregard for the health of the other children, but because my wife would have been happy to put the slippers on if it gave her the opportunity to meet the teachers who would be taking care of our son. At every other tour I have gone on at one of these locations, I have been encouraged by the site director to meet the teachers. When we had questions on pricing, the employee was combative, insisting that they had never heard of the corporate discount that my wife had through her employer, then insisting that it did not apply to our son since he would be in an infant room. When we asked about a refund we had received at our current location for the $100+ registration fee, the employee pretty rudely told us we were wrong and that never happens. After explaining to them that yes, it did in fact happen for us in the past, we were finally able to get them to reach out to their billing department for clarification. The person in billing apparently confirmed that yes, my wife's discount was valid, and yes, the registration fee was waived on the first year. At the risk of sounding horribly entitled, I will say that it struck me as particularly poor customer service that the employee never bothered to apologize for being wrong, or acknowledged that we were right.Despite having a calculator right in front of them, they would not calculate the total cost of care with the discount for us, even writing in the folder they gave us that it was X amount, "minus discount". This prompted my wife to actually ask them for the calculator so she could calculate it herself. It is worth noting that this location does not do part time (less than 5 days a week, the way the employee explained it) for infant care. This is also inconsistent with other locations I have looked at, but somewhat understandable given that the infant room is full.Throughout this entire process, it felt like this person was doing everything they could to convince us not to get on the waiting list with them. I'm pretty sure that they did not even acknowledge our son once, even though I was holding him the majority of the time. The entire experience was entirely off putting, and hurt my perception of the Tutor Time brand as a whole. They say that first impressions are lasting impressions. My impression of this location is that I will never use it.

We have been going to this Tutor Time location for a year now and are so happy with the experiences we have had there. It makes me feel great when my 4 year old daughter get up and the morning and ask if she can go to school today. My 1 year old son has been there since he was 12 weeks old and the staff has done such a great job with him and his recent transition from the Infants to the 1's class. Thanks to all the staff for taking such great care of my kids! I know that I can go to work and not have to worry about them because they are in such great hands!
