The art for sale is cool, if a bit expensive since it's for supporting local artists.
Unfortunately the local artists also stand around the very small store hoping to sell you something. It was really awkward.

A great stop to see small and large works of art. An artist was there working on a painting. She also does mosaics. Beautiful items to look at and possibly purchase. Friendly staff will help with questions or show you things in the glass cases. Free shared parking and WiFi.

I am blown away by the variety of unique, handmade items in this store- metal, glass, wood, fiber arts, paintings, sculpture, jewelry… if you are looking to support local artists and a non profit cause (20% of all proceeds of each sale benefit the foundation), then please check it out. I was quite surprised at how affordable the art was- from lovely $25 paintings to wooden tea light holders to amazing metal work. It is in an area that is easy to park in and with a great hot chicken place and ice cream sandwich place nearby, it really could be a fun way to spend an afternoon. Oh, and did I mention that the Mesa Contemporary Art museum is next door and admission is always free there?

This is a really cute but small store at the art center. I've purchased a few things here and on my latest trip I snagged a beautiful hand built ceramic pot. The workers are friendly, but a lot of the items are kitschy. It's hard to find anything not run of the mill with some of the items looking like they belong at the Mesa flea market and are geared for the touristy trade, not for local art lovers. I love hand made jewelry, but mostly the things here look like something you would buy at the mall. I've managed to find 1 unique necklace here since they opened. I can juxtapose this store to the one at Scottsdale center for the performing arts- where I have to hold myself back from buying a lot of pieces.I'm glad local artists have a place to sell their wares, but this place just isn't for folks with eclectic tastes. We frequent the art center and I will continue to pop in here to look around but I will probably continue to leave empty handed.

Great Mesa East Valley location for all original artwork by local Arizona artists. The Center has lots to do and the store is the perfect place to find a birthday, hostess, or "just because" gift for that special someone. That someone could even be you!

Not a huge spot, but usually have a local artist there on weekends working. Also have stained glass, paintings, jewelry (which is unique and local) and pottery.
