Picked up some ammo there yesterday and the cashier asked me for my driver's license. That's a big negative there buddy. I will be spreading the word about the concerning policies being adopted. This store has been driven into the ground. Corporate, if you are watching...you need to fire this store manager and fix your policies.
Edit to add after company reply: yeah, no, no ID is required to buy ammo, I'm not even close to 21 years of age, and I have purchased ammo at this store for years and at no point in the past did they require an ID for those purchases.

Worst Place to Buy a Firearm! Background Checks are stuck on Delay for Months, buy a gun from a local FFL shop where they follow the 3 day federal rule!

Great outdoor gear source. They feature name brand and quality equipment. Not as big as some other outdoor stores but much easier to get in and out of. Generally my source for camping and hunting supplies

My husband (who has stage four cancer) had a chance to go shooting with his son this weekend. He was so excited (a rarity now days) and I gave him money to purchase a gun (almost $1000). When he showed his new gun to friend (a whole half hour later) the friend discovered a crack in the wood. My hubby went back immediately and was told they could do nothing until the following week (after the event he bought the gun for) when a manager would be there.
This is awful customer service and more than disappointing. I will never again purchase or recommend Sportsman's to anyone. At this time in his life my hubby should not have to deal with these issues.

Very nosey and suspicious man working in the shoe department here. Large man with an aggressive and resentful attitude towards the shopper. I repeatedly told him I just want to look, browse, and try on different models. He stood there ignoring my statements, harassing me and questioning me, and refused to just let me view different models on my own. I never requested his assistance and I understand he has no life and this is his whole employment, but when a customer says they want to be left alone and not pressured, that's exactly what they mean. NO MEANS NO. All shoppers are different and not everyone wants to sit and bug an employee to make the decision for them. Due to him harassing me and not letting me just shop, I immediately left the store and will never be returning.
