First of all, love the store! The set up is nice and easy, lines are usually fast. Courtesy clerks are great at helping with whatever I need. My only complaint is HEIDI THE MANAGER. She is HORRID, HORRIBLE, RUDE, CONDESCENDING AND JUST A PLAIN OL B WORD. I have witnessed many times her interactions with staff be it meat slicers, other managers, cashiers and she is just plain wickedly rude in the way she talks and treats other individuals. She acts like she hates her job! If so, she should seek other employment or SOMEONE HIGHER UP NEEDS TO HAVE MANY WORDS WITH HER. I would never want to have to work with her as my boss. She really ruins a person's day. GET RID OF HEIDI THE MANAGER.

I never had an issue with Safeway until they decided to start closing the checkout lines by 7pm and forcing people to use the self checkout regardless of how full their cart might be. It is especially ridiculous and lazy when I am in line, and the cashier looks directly at me and flips off her light.

Ryan in the liquor department helped me with a bourbon purchase recently and through the purchase I also met Tasha. I have to say they provided me some of the best customer service I’ve ever received related to a store purchase and can’t say enough good things about them!

I just wanted to give a shout out to Jaron at my neighborhood Safeway…I ordered pickup for grocery earlier around 130pm…the wife came home at looked at the order and asked about the spiral ham for Easter and I didn’t notice that we didn’t have it…so drove down the street to Safeway before it closed and Jaron helped me right away to just get a the ham I was missing without any question and just wanted to say Thank You for understanding and not giving issues on the situation… Thank You Jaron.. May everything good come to you and to your future!!!

Bought a prepackaged marinated pork loin from this Safeway. It’s March 23rd, forgot to check the date. Got it home and its expiration is Feb 28th. Didn’t check the date until after I opened it and it stank up my kitchen. Always check the meat dates on items in this store. Y’all could kill somebody selling meat that old.

I want to start off by saying I like the store. Always clean and great selection of products. But every time I come in there is always only one register open. I waited 15 minutes for my turn. I had a full cart of groceries and there was also a long line at self checkout with one of the self checkouts were down. There were 2 employees at self checkout but only one register open? Last thing you want to do after work is wait in line that long. Think I'll go down the road or Walmart at least around that time to avoid this.

I stop to get gas, the pumps weren't accepting debit at the pumps. Went inside and I politely mention that the pumps had a issues with cards. The store associates told me to go somewhere else. They didnt say, I'm sorry, nothing, very rude. 6:30 am 02/03/24. What happened to human kindness.
