Been waiting at the gas pump for about 20 minutes for the manager to show up after pump shut off. 1.00 off not worth my time. Still waiting this place sucks.

I normally love this Safeway. The people are nice and I love the bakery selection. But today I went to buy a cheesecake from the bakery. Normally I buy the chocolate covered cheese cake slice on a stick but they didn’t have any so I bought this raspberry white chocolate cheesecake instead. I started to eat and I realized it tasted different than normal and I saw they added hazelnut paste to it. I have a nut allergy. I caught it in time so I’m fine but it made me sad cause the cheesecake was one of the few items I could get for myself at the bakery b/c of my allergies. And now I can’t because the recipe changed. (I bought a different cheesecake for my partner, a mini round cheesecake with chocolate on top and read the ingredients. It also had hazelnut paste in it). I gave this a one star because I would wish they added more nut free cakes that aren’t just the plain vanilla and chocolate. And I wish next time even if it’s just a nut paste I would like to see labeling that catches the eye b/c no one would look at a cheesecake and think theres nuts in it (unless it was very obvious).

Ordered for delivery and did not get the hamburger. They blamed the Doordarshan driver and refused to send out the missing items. Poor customer service.

Three times last week their products rang up incorrectly. $24 total when it turned out to be $14. $18 total when it turned out to be $11. $19 total when it turned out to be $15.
Today their lines for self checkout and employee checkout are 6-7 customers deep, waiting. This store is managed poorly. The Manager when confronted about the pricing last week and I asked “Is someone working on the issues with prices not ringing up correctly?” and the response was, “Whatever phone number you entered was incorrect.” Well that’s funny, I didn’t enter a phone number two of the transactions and scanned their QR code from their app.
Today, after waiting for the forever long lines, my 4 item purchase came out to $14, and yet again, they had to come correct it as the entire total was under $6. However the CSR could not discount the transaction further to the actual price it should have been, as the Manager was nowhere to be found.
Folks, Safeway, is ripping you off on your daily purchases, and sometimes for more than 100% more than what the transaction should be.

I've been shopping here for years and never had any issues until today. The meat department has a "new policy" and would not slice meat for me after saying he would. The guy immediately gathered the other members of the meat department to discuss the "new policy." Thumbs down for todays customer service. I will be shopping elsewhere.

Shopped here since they opened. The last 3 times, I've had to go to the service desk to be refunded for sale items that did not ring up correctly. Do better Safeway...I should be able to count on accurate checkout!
