The employees at the store are very unhelpful and disrespectful if you ask for help .

We bought $150 in grocery’s and had to deal with their creepy LP guy following us around the whole time we were there. Look out for the weirdo in the hat with glasses and a mask and a cane. Pretty sure he works there? If not, dude is downright stalking people at Safeway

6:40 am. Friday May 31at. I went to the bakery for bagels and donuts. Shelves were empty. There were at least 3 speed racks full of bagels just sitting in bakery area. Staff was busy looking at cakes. You can't make money selling products if they're not out to purchase. I went to Fry's down the street. Pretty lame on a Friday morning.

Rudest employees ever. I asked for some chicken tenders and it just about ruined her day! Super rude and goes slamming things around after. I told her to check her attitude and she goes "shut your mouth" Excuse me? What is customer service? All because she was asked by a customer to place chicken tenders in a bag. Fry's just gained a customer because I wont be coming back

Read to the end of this story to get to the good part. I had foot surgery last week so I can't drive. A friend took me to Safeway Monday and I bought a big ol bag of frozen broccoli. Today, I opened the bag to have some broccoli for lunch, and every floret was super coated with ice, as if it had been in a freezer for months, despite the expiration date being next year. I thought maybe it would be okay once I cooked it, but it wasn't. It was gross and brown and mushy, and smelled worse than broccoli even normally smells. I was sad since, because of my foot, I couldn't just hop in my car and go get a different bag. So I called Safeway. I told the manager, Justin, about my broccoli dilemma. He didn't even pause to think about what to do. Just said he'd bring me a new bag right then. And he did. He didn't send somebody else; he immediately grabbed a new bag and drove it over to my house. He even looked through all the bags to make sure he wasn't bringing one with a bunch of ice in it. Anyway, that was super cool, and I hope everything Justin ever does in his life is super successful.

Rudest employees I’ve ever experienced at Safeway. Accused of theft by psycho lady at the front upon walking in to the store. Been here dozens of times, maybe hundreds, now will never be back.
Edit: Had a nice chat with the manager at this location after this event. Can tell that he genuinely wants to improve this location and hold his employees accountable for their unacceptable behavior. Will give this location another chance.

I like Safeway a lot, it's always clean and neat, and has a positive vibe. It's definitely something you need when you come in from that outside world.

Can't give a Zero Star Review on the Pharmacy, but, they totally deserve it. I'm Autistic, unable to drive and have limited availability to get my few prescriptions for Asthma and Migraines. Since the Pharmacy staff changed, I've had nothing but problems and now, I'm basically traumatized. Over a week and half ago, I transfered 2 prescriptions here. Had to call after 3 days to get them transferred. Showed up on the weekend to pick up, as I was told they would be ready. Got a seemingly rehearsed and completely impersonal "your insurance requires you to wait until midweek to get 2 of the 3." I had to ask questions to use GoodRx on 1 of the 2. Then I verified I could obtain the much needed inhaler the following weekend. I was told it would be there. Sunday, over a week after this, I go with a friend and am informed seemingly like a rehearsed line again, very impersonaly that my prescription, though showing in the app before showing up as ready, was unfilled and given to someone else. I can return tomorrow and get it after 2 pm. I explain, yet again, my situation, to the almost exact same speech. When I explain what I've been through, I'm offered the delivery option through the app, but, again, impersonal, no guarantee, AND I'm told to use a Credit Card. I explain I don't have one. She says a Debit "SHOULD" work. Not 2 sentences later, throws the Credit Card line at me again. I just decided I was done. Because, I was getting absolutely nowhere and wasn't even treated human. I maintained my cool, but, am probably not willing to visit this Safeway again. I'll go back to the Pharmacy that is twice as far, a lot harder to get to, but, at least I'm a person, not a number speaking to an Automated System. This Pharmacy needs the old staff back to bring life back to it.

DO NOT GO TO THE DELI AND ASK FOR A SANDWHICH! Every single time I order a sandwich whoever is working looks at me like they hate me. They despise making them. The girl recently told me she couldn't toast it and then she said she would have to ring me up for something totally different and that it would mess up there in inventory after it clearly states on the menu "Substitutions available upon request!" If they hate making sandwiches so bad then why work in a deli???
4/4/24 Update…every woman that works behind the deli is extremely rude! They hate their jobs and feel the need to take it out on every customer! You ask for something and they treat you like garbage! I hate going to this deli!

The layout of this safeway really grinds my gears. They do not have a wingbar. One million climbed to ask comma why no wing bar? The contacts list ATM really grinds my gears, it makes you think that you can use it with your phone, and then it doesn't! This Safeway really does not stand up to what Safeway could be. There's so much potential in the safe way.
