When a loved one wanted to build a Face/off movie tribute 1911, i formulated a plan for them. An all Caspian Hand-Build. Bob LaMarca of Accuracy Speaks here in Mesa crafted the pistol. Inside lives a USPSA/IDPA Limited class competition gun with 100% reliability. Alumagrips, also in Mesa supplied the thin grip panels. For the finish we will go with titaniumgun.com of Lakeside Ca. Years of study. Well over a year sourcing parts. Months of detailed work. Price no object. Pursuing the ultimate carry gun. With a bling factor never before seen. To go the final distance, we went to the best Polish Man in the Country, Brother Russell. We just set him loose on the slide. To follow his astute inner voice. As usual, expectations were greatly exceeded! If you are a biker, boater, racer, or hot rodder in this town you have probably already admired his work. Dang, he's good! Only one thing, he is very busy. I would just stop by with your stuff and ring the bell. Just sayin'

If you want to know what it's like to be the best and what you do, talk to Russell at Russell's Custom Polishing. The majority of what Russell polishes is for hot rods and other automotive applications, but from time to time Russell will lend his expertise to the polishing of watches, and he has polished three of mine so far. Russell took the boring brushed stainless steel look of my watches to a complete mirror finish that sparkles. My watches not only look new, but they look like a completely different watch. You might even say it has increased their value.
