I went in to get a loan on a gun today and the guy that looked at my gun to give me the loan pretended as if he was the one that was there when I bought it. Like he said oh wow this is a little bit more worn than when you bought it. But this guy was not even there. He does not have to use Shady business tactics. I will take my business elsewhere.

I went here yesterday to check out inventory, good selection of firearms, great conversation with both the gentleman and woman working that day. Very professional, knowledgeable and overall a good shop. Will be continuing business with these folks

I recently bought a new guitar from Route 66 Pawn & Gun. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Good selection, pricing was very reasonable, and the overall atmosphere of the shop was welcoming. I highly recommend checking them out. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Cool staff, GREAT prices. Nice clean atmosphere, I bought a firearm from them used, It's clean and I'm very happy with both the item and service. I'll definitely be back for more.
(I saw the other reviews, be respectful like any pawn shop in the valley, they know when you're up to something. Most pawn shop owners and employees were not born last night unfortunately. Us gun lovers don't want a good shop ruined by bad individuals.) 10/10 great store.

Went here for a gun transfer. I was really barked at by the owner when I asked to examine the gun. "It's brand new! And you didn't buy it from me! If you have a problem with it, take it up with the manufacturer." I was shocked. Unreal behavior to a paying customer. It was like an intimidation thing from this guy. Off the chart angry and rude. As a woman who has transferred over five new guns within Arizona? I would not recommend this place. Dude has anger issues. I was treated badly, for literally, no reason at all. All dealers state to examine guns onsite at time of transfer.

The story of the shady shop on Main Street. First day I arrived too late to get my gun, oh well. Signs were off during business hours and the vibe was weird.
Second time, I’m able to get my gun but surprise surprise, it’s damaged. Somehow it was damaged on the sight, no drop marks or scratches anywhere else on the gun. I should’ve checked it before I walked out the door cause the vibe was sketch but I didn’t open it up till I got to my truck, my fault partially.
What irks me the most is everything that happened after this. My original dealer inspects every gun in their carpeted building for serial#s and to make sure it’s not damaged. The pawn shop guy kept trying to say I bought a blem or maybe the store got it for cheap as a blem or that they probably sent it damaged. Super quick to apply blame and distance themselves from the situation.
The lady helping asked me if I got the message about it being damaged before I picked it up(so they knew about it)they never called and never disclosed at the time I picked it up that there was damage. But it magically came up when I walked back in the door with the damaged gun. Oh how funny the human memory is. They had previous knowledge and passed it on to me, and they got lucky I didn’t check before walking out the door.
The last grimey part of this business is my guns slide had a zip tie, on the second time I picked it up it was on the gun and when I got it today it was off. They had inspected and handled the gun more and removed the zip tie.
Make 100% sure to inspect your gun before leaving this store and read recent reviews. Photos include the depressed zip tie and damage to the sights.

Purchased a firearm here 3 yrs ago and was treated super well. Went in today and the guy went right to the computer, then a napped at me when I pulled out my phone. Seems like they don’t know how to do the right checks to prevent straw purchases so they punish their customers.
Update: store response is changing the story to make them not sound as bad. I was told “put your phone away, our sign (guy points to sign almost on ceiling) says no phones allowed.” I am shocked a shop I once raved about now has employees that have no tact or basic customer service skills. Not deeply offended, but do want people to know what they could be in for when visiting.

Energy is super weird , the tall guy that walks around with a gun on his hip thinks he’s the sheriff of town his attitude is terrible the older women is very kind and nice and the other gentleman is also decent quiet but decent , also get ready to (NOT HAVE YOUR PHONES OUT) I went in day before they put that sign up walked in with phone out to transfer money and go yelled at by Mr sheriff if I can give this place no stars I would just because of Rick grimes in there

We arrived at the store during operational hours to find the entire building locked up. Waste of gas.

Good selection of overpriced used firearms. No phones allowed here, just like your back in middle school.
