Went looking for a bed. Appears to have great product but paying 5 figures for a bed was too much sticker shock. Sales staff was very informative and friendly. Worth checking out if cost is not an issue

Owner David Purves listened to my needs and has been impressively responsive and helpful every step of the way from deciding what to buy, to placing my order, and then to helping me assemble and adjust my chair.I live in southwestern NM, so the chair was mailed to me from the manufacturer. David and I had an initial face-to-face meeting (I was in Phoenix for a medical appointment and he graciously made a special appointment so I could bring my dog in with me to check out chairs) and then we exchanged many emails (mostly during the decision-making step) and had a couple of phone calls. I’ve had my chair for almost a month now and I’m still delighted with it.Thank you, David, for your guidance and patience.

I didn’t want to come into the store because of COVID. I called the store and spoke to David, the Manager and he was extremely helpful assisting me with ordering two zero gravity chairs. We built the chairs from the ground up and I got exactly what I wanted. Plus, he assembled them and delivered them at no charge. We love the comfort of the chairs. I would highly recommend the chairs and David.

Their Zero Gravity Chairs: they are very expensive compared to the competition. They require expensive maintenance that they don't tell you about and the local specialist has a monopoly on the market and charges accordingly. Be prepared to spend $200 a year on average on him with nothing covered. The owner swears that the chair is great for your back. I didn't find that at all. And you probably won't either. Expensive padding is a big extra expense and needs expensive replacing otherwise your rear will hurt and your back won't be comforted. Crossing your legs while sitting is difficult and not advised by the store so watch it. The leather breaks down and is expensive to repair. The chair is very fragile and difficult and awkward to move around your house and it " gets legs" by shifting in your favorite place for sitting, requiring you to constantly push it back after its latest slide. Lastly, they sold me an expensive lumbar support cushion that didn't help and easily broke-- the chair is not good for lumbar support, meaning you get up feeling like your hips and back are in a straight jacket Btw. The manufacturer is rude and unhelpful in its customer support and has only a small limited warranty for its overpriced chair If you insist on having a zero gravity chair check out all the competition. Relax the Back will not go to bat for you. They continually say they are the seller--not the manufacturer, designer, or warranty provider. Basically tough luck as they wash their hands if your problems Check out Ekornes at less cost, better warranty, more dealers, better loos, more mobility, and far more comfort and much better ergonomics I don't write reviews as a general rule but this purchase was stupid and I want to help others avoid these problems.

I have never left a negative review before but feel compelled to warn others. Went to the Mesa location to try out the massage chairs and the salesman, who turned out to be the owner, was aggressive, curt, and condescending, immediately making what should be an enjoyable experience tense. Unfortunately, winded up leaving before I could try anything out because why would I want to support someone who clearly doesn't value his customers and I couldn't help but wonder if he would speak to a male customer in the tone he used with me. Considering the empty store, I'm surprised he wasn't in a more helpful mood. But in reading other reviews, it sounds like this may be his baseline. He smugly let me know as I was walking out that he owned all 3 "Relax the Back" stores but fortunately, I found another store that carries a wide selection nearby!

I'm giving this a great review because of the fact... That I've dealt with relaxed the back in Chicago, same quality, I've been owning one of their chairs for 16 years, unfortunately the chair I own is discontinued, since moving to the Arizona area I needed a part to help me keep my same chair.... The manager I'll call him David.. yep David That's his name, looked up an old part for me and helped me to keep my chair...thanks for going out of your way I will continue to use your products and my next chair will come from relax the back
