If you're on a business trip don't go here for spring break. I was put in a dirty room that smelled like cigarettes. Had to pack all my stuff up and move to another room. This room was a decent room but the AC wouldn't turn off and switch to heat. That's all right I was in Arizona so I just opened the window let in the heat. Staff was decent, overall decent place at 100 and something bucks not at 300 during spring break. I do like the fact that the outer rooms have balconies that's a hard commodity to find nowadays in a hotel. Plus not to mention it is right off the freeway.

Room was facing the pool and I assume it’s spring break month. Lots of kids yelling and screaming from the pool area. Room could use a face lift and renovation. The hallway to the elevator is dark. Once you exit the elevator to your floor, it’s very very dark. No Diamond status acknowledgment upon check in. No complimentary water bottle. I only stayed here but it was close to work and within budget. Even that for $295/night, it wasn’t worth it. Hotels are simply surging for the heck of it.

Arriving in Phoenix our original booking at another hotel was a nightmare. My family scrambled around at night to find another hotel. Then we came across the Holiday inn. We came into the hotel and were welcomed by Erika. And she was amazing!! She found an early checkout room (( the place was all booked )). She Arranged a room cleaning and made sure we had everything we needed. She gave us a wonderful treatment and prepped us up for the stay. It was such a treat to have a wonderful experience after our rough start in Phoenix. Great room, great location, and even better service!! Erika deserves super props!!

(1.) Very noisy outside , room insulation of poor quality, staff does not tell you in order to hear less noise turn on the AC/Heating unit.so you either sleep very cold or very hot. Upon check in as the keys were issued staff member remarked"I'm giving you the quietest room....that's a LIE.(2.) Room was dirty, not cleaned next to bed.Rooms: Room insulation of poor quality, noise from outside comes through balcony door / window. You hear all traffic from hotel motorcycles at 4a.m. to loud exhaust vehicles driving through....staff not very responsive, did not notice any note taking just verbale acknowledgement.....placed sucked

The worst holiday inn stay ever. This holiday inn is a badly renovated old hotel that does not prioritize cleanliness and sanitation. The bathrooms were gross with showers floor corners that had orange/rust color bacteria. The floors around the toilet was disgusting. After a second hotel move within Mesa, we just ended up staying hence is was almost 11 o’clock and my kids were tired. Never renting anywhere in Mesa. Also the old renovated hotel hallways are scary since they are super dark. I do not recommend!Safety: Not safe or sanitary

Stayed for 6 nights in February. It appeared a portion of the hotel was under renovation which it needs. Of concern was an mattress which was left outside exposed to the elements for 5 days. There were some other mattresses which had been discarded in the parking lot. Given this one did not make it to that pile it begs consideration if it was put back into the room. Hot tub only had 2 working jets. In all would stay here again given my observations.

This hotel is OK. It's pricey as well, so I'm not sure why they can't afford the following. To me this is a overpriced motel 6. If I want a motel six I would gladly pay $79 a night. Paying $445.00 for 2 nights with this service is just not worth it.. I HOPE MANAGEMENT SEE THIS AND MAKES THE NECESSARY CORRECTIONS.*No coffee passed at 9 am. Why all holiday inns have coffee all day...* Front desk as a while staff is not well rounded on what's going on with their system.* Very slow at checking people in and out.* Breakfast is not great and not hot either.* Staff passes by you in the hallways and does not say "Good morning" or Hello," you know common courtesy."

This hotel is extremely old and needs to be updated. The day that we stayed here it was raining and our roof leaked. They did get us another room right away but very disappointed and the atmosphere inside the room furniture looked old and you could see patchwork on the ceiling and the walls. As far as the price per night that was excellent. So I guess you just get what you pay for.
