I’m upset I feel my mom got taken advantage of. I set up the reservation for her told her I added the extra insurance for $26. She just had to go show with her license and pick it up. I saw the bill after she returned it and they added $40 extra dollars to her bill this was extra insurance another additional insurance. I just want this made right. She didn’t need insurance on top of her already additional insurance. The lady at hertz said oh I’m sorry we don’t know if you add insurance online or not and at this point you already used the car so we can’t refund the extra $41 we added on top of the online request that already had it. I’m willing to change my review if you refund my mom the amount your personal office added to her already fully rented car contract. She’s old and thought you were adding what I told her I added online. She had no clue she was adding double insurance. Come on that’s not right to add when it’s already on her online receipt. Hope you make this right.

If I could give less than one star I would. I attempted to pick up a rental car and have NEVER been so disrespected in my life. Not only was I told I need to be educated but I was told I clearly can not do anything right. Even worse was I (a female) being talked down/disrespected by a male employee while another male employee watched the show and said nothing. So I would like to point out how uncomfortable I felt and how I left in tears. I will never rent from hertz or recommend hertz to people in the future.

Honestly the guy was dealing with was kind of a j**** if it wasn’t AAA paying for the rental car I probably would have just went elsewhere.

I was given a nasty car. It was dirty on the inside and outside. It had alot dings on it. The worst rental experience, I won't be back.

STOP do not rent from here my rental was dirty and smelled really bad I tried to stick it out and buy air freshener but it was so bad I called the next day to see about exchanging it but the manager Angela Davidson was horrible at customer service an told me she did not have any cars and tha I could call other locations to see if they did.... Isn't that her job to 1st make sure the car is clean and up to standard but also help find a replacement ? ? she was rude and unhelpful when I asked to have some kind of compensation for the issues she offered 20 dollars off my 250 dollar rental wow horrible do not rent from here you will regret your decision find somewhere that actually cleans there cars and cares about ther services!!!!! If I could give a 0 star I would!!!!!

I'm going 3 stars based on lack on info between customer and rental agent.Came from NY to Arizona after paying for a rental. Got to the spot and found out that if I intend on using my debit card instead of credit card for the deposit then it changed from 200 to 500 dollars. Not cool because I didn't have the 500 on my account and couldn't get the car. Luckily my refund should go back in my account around the time my vacation ends. Thanks for nothing Hertz.

Reserved a car today at 3pm. Instead received a call at 230 stating they would have to charge me more money because they don’t have the car available. A waste of time to even make a reservation. Not helpful at all. Told me to call customer relations and 1800 number.

Do not rent from Hertz, they file warrants for peoples arrests because they can't find their cars.

I was not impressed. I returned the car early and I did not get a refund for the time not used. I was told it's the policy. But there is always something that a manager can work out to help the consumer. Nobody tried to help out or make good on the situation. She just said "oh well"

Choose another rental company. Arrived for my month long rental and was given a nasty dirty vehicle. When I advised Nate the car was unacceptably dirty, and should be cleaned properly especially because of Covid, he told me “ well in Arizona we don’t care that much about Covid and thats all we have.” He sent the vehicle to the back to be cleaned. The pictures attached is the car AFTER it got it’s supposed 2nd cleaning. Needless to say I cancelled the car and left. Terrible terrible service and now I know cleanliness does not matter to the company pre or post Covid. Take a good look at the attached pictures. Then decide if you will risk renting with them
